Probably one of my favourite places for burgers. I'm not a big fan of the typical, over-crowded and noisy experience of fast-food. (I don't normally have fast food, hence why).
Staff is very nice. Service is quick. Waiting time varies depending on the days of the week you're dining. However I prefer the portion and taste of their burgers here than other fast food joints.
Well presented warm and in the good time. Was greeted cordially and answered to most politely when i queried as to which burger to have between two option.

Late night drive through and was very impressed. The Alabama Slamma looked just like the pics!! The fish burger was delish and full of flavor. The handscooped shake was mouth watering. Only disappointment, amd the reason we didn't rate it a full 5 was the "Large" fries... if they were size large, I'd hate to see what a small would be! The chilli fries were awesome!! We will be back for burgers!!!! Will just skip on the fries next time.
OK Screw it man, i'm from South Africa and i haven't had Carls Jnr before so as soon as i tried it i was hooked, i mean there are a couple of other burger joints but back home we didn't have anything that tasted at all similar to the JIM BEAM BOURBON BURGER !!!! or those CRISSCUT FRIES!!!
Now i didn't care for the Angus beef last time i was in Aotearoa, but this time i really did. there's just something fresher about the meat.
okay seriously now short story shorter we felt insecure took a wrong turn but still ended up at the carls jnr, and ate until we couldn't move for the next hour. like Crisscut french fries smothered in pulled pork, Memphis BBQ sauce and shredded, melted cheese. and like waaay to much cold drink, and that Angus beef, OH MY GOSH!!!
anyway the service was great, the chick behind the counter wasn't bad at all, would've given her some for an extra chicken tender, the food was Delicious, and yeah after everything we actually made it home.

The evening nibbles was niggling again, so after hearing & seeing the adverts for the new burgers I ordered the Kentucky Memphis this comes with a nice Bourbon sauce. Absolutely loved the 1/3rd pounder. Has just the right amount of veges & cheese + an excellent burger pattie. Well presented warm & in good time. Was greeted cordially & answered to most politely when I queried as to which burger to have between two options. Found the fries a tad oily & could not finish them due to the oily taste. Overall nice ambience, great service & a most satisfying meal. Tables were clean & the place has a nice vibe to it. Love to be back sometime again. Well done to the team at this place.
For burgers, Carl's Jr is my first choice. It started about 3 years ago at Pakuranga. It is spacious and I love its brightness & openness. Before making an order, make sure you check on all the special deals on the big posters at the windows - they are not shown on the counter. I like its double western bacon cheeseburger & the western bacon thickburger but not the ice-cream sandwich (the one with cookies, not brownies, which is really hard). I particularly like the bar on the side where you help yourselves with drinks & 4 veggie.
P.S. I took my granddaughter for a quick bite 2 years ago. She wasn't happy to find mustard in her child's meal and she dropped a complaint in the comment box. She hasn't had the child's meal since then.
Like they say, Eat like you mean it. Better than most fast food buger, but not better than buger fuel.

The closest Carl's Jr. in the neighborhood and truly I love it when a restaurant or community center are in close proximity with bus stops.
That on some Sunday morning you could just take a walk, breath the fresh air, step on the bus, then go buys some burger and a nice hot cup of coffee, then go back home again using buses. Muy bien ๐
I have been to other Carls Jr long time ago, and thought it is small portion and just alright but here~ wow!! Big juicy flavor and fresh!! Portobello mushroom was amazing did not need two steak. Thanks mad my day!
Very nice, the wait time is very fast, it tastes good and it's clean.

Food quality is on point majority of the time. Although lately, I've been requesting for no salt on my sides (fries or onion rings) as they are pre-salted and can be preeeetty salty if not.
Overall, food prices are decent for quality and size.
I ordered the famous Jim Beam Burger with med. fries and drink, costed $16. I asked for more sauce in my burger, and they do it without extra charge. Very friendly staff. Always smile. As always, the Jim Beam Burger tasted very nice. Very good environment too.
*Nov 2021 food was made quickly but was pretty good considering the amount of times I went the food was always below average. Food was hot this time and the wait time wasn't bad, only suggestion is to take the choc shavings off the sundae as it ruins it
Staff service immediately notified me, but the taste of burger was not good as before, to be honest.
Very well managed Carl's JR. This was the cleanest Carl's i have been to. Burgers were amazing too, thank you ๐
Quiet (Thursday evening) but decent burgers, prompt table service. Much richer burgers than the competition!
