Gaon is my favorite restaurant in town. Delicious food and great service every time. The Korean fried chicken are so good and you can never go wrong with ordering the BBQ!! Recommend 100%
My partner and I were lucky enough to get a walk-in table here on Friday evening. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A starter came with our meals containing dumplings, spring rolls, kimchi, and miso soup. We ordered cooked meals, which were very good and big servings. We'll definitely have to come back to try the Korean bbq! Highly reccomend (picture of our finished plates. The food was too good to wait for a picture)
The Korean BBQ is a great experience. We chose the marinated beef and pork which was tender and very tasty. The meal came with sides of rice, miso soup, nibbles and lettuce. Would’ve liked more pickle selection over the dumplings and spring rolls. Also had the Korean fried chicken 50/50, the honey and garlic were not crispy at all unfortunately, the sweet and spicy sauce was delicious. We were a party of 5 and the meat party for 3 plus kfc dish would’ve been ample food. Definitely recommend the experience.
Absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend going here if u are ever in palmy. Absolutely the best Koren food I have ever had and the service OMG the staff there are friendly n very helpful. Whanau and friends this is a place u must go. Thank u so much team for the wonderful service n hospitality, arranging our ride to the airport for us after our dinner. We really appreciated it. 5 stars all round. Next year when we come back we are all eating here.
The best Korean restaurant in Palmerston North. Food is very delicious. Good service. I have visited multiple times to enjoy the amazing food they cook. Reasonably priced and good quantity serving. It's a good idea to start with the Korean drink "Soju".
If i could describe it in one word, it would be just Wow! The korean charcoal bbq is totally another level of any korean bbq restaurants i've been in so far. Not just food, service and athmosphere is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone travelling or living in Palmy, this place is a must visit stop
Our boss had treated us to a meal there last night. Food was delicious,staff were very approachable and friendly. The restaurant was very warm and spotless.Would highly recommend them. A perfect night had by all. Thank you very much for an excellent evening.
Got a takeaway here a few weeks back, absolutely amazing. I got the LA Galbi and the T-Kim - both were very generous portions and amazing flavours. Very friendly and fast service. Would love to come back for a dine-in experience as the restaurant looked gorgeous inside. Best takeaway I've had in ages!
