A lovely place to lunch, great food , lots of choice, well priced and all home made (or if not it fooled me!)

Bees Knees are now also open Sundays 7.00 am till 2.00 pm and also have a breakfast menu available on Saturdays and Sundays and Public Holidays. Delicious

The Bees Knees Cafe is a great little place to visit. The food is all homemade and very generous in size. I love the vintage but on trend decor, and the gorgeous collection of tableware. The staff are all very friendly, and the customer service is excellent. I only wish there were more great places like this in Palmy!
The Bees Knees Cafe is such a lovely relaxing place to visit and the food is so very nice. The ladies are so friendly and make you feel like to have walked into your best friends home for a cuppa .The scones and egg pinwheels are to die for and I even had to take some more home to snack on later(there goes the diet).I would highly recommend going to Bees Knees Cafe as you won't be disappointed I wasn't.
This is such a great experience to be indulged at The Bees Knees.The service is fast (when its not too busy with a Que almost out the door!) The food is consistently fresh, homemade & really good.The coffee is consistently good also. This is not the cheapest cafe but who minds when you are paying for all of the above!! The village atmosphere is a bonus, worth spending some time looking around the local shops here, you won't have to pay for any parking either!!
Nice sunny wee spot, great coffee and cabinet food. Worth a stop in if you are down that end of Palmy. Just avoid lunch places this good tend to pack out around lunch time. Clean, fashionable and tasteful decor a reflection of the two trendy old ducks who operate this cafe.
Wonderful little "Tea Shop" located in Hokowhitu Village.
Lovely dainty sandwiches and cakes on offer, served on delightful old floral china plates. Just the way Grandma used to serve food. Fantastic place for ladies who don't like trying to manage huge paninis and enormous baguettes.
Friendly staff - highly recommended!
I came in an hour before close so it was pretty empty and they were only selling cabinet food. The staff were very friendly I had the $10 mac and cheese which was tasty and served hot. The portion was slightly under what I'd expect for $10.
This is the sweetest little cafe, with lovely staff and delightful decor. Their prices are great, and their portion sizes are sensible, which means there's always room for a wonderful dessert!
A lovely place to sit and chat. Highly recommend the French toast option.
Great little cafe. Menu is primarily breakfast based. Smaller portioned meals but more than adequate. My Mocha was spectacular but could be warmer.

Good variety of food and drinks ! Makes a good breakfast and brunch place. Place gets packed quickly.
