Food was delicious and the front desk was friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. I ordered via phone and took her recommendation. The soy sauce noodles were tasty and there were lots of perfectly cooked vegetables (sorry no images). Just order extra rice (not included) if you like.
Also prices are a little different - about two dollars cheaper on the mains!

The food was delicious and the service was excellent. The friendly staff fully explained the spicy/hot dishes on the menu so we could then select a dish to our taste. Would definitely recommend this restaurant and we will visit again when next visiting this area.
All four of our group were impressed with the decor, food, service and value for money. Totally enjoyable experience. Very repeatable.

Went to Thai Lagoon based on the reviews of others and was not disappointed. Went at 7:30pm without a booking but they still managed to find us a table. The wait staff were friendly and served us quickly. We advised that we were on a time restraint as we were also going to a movie. That wasn’t a problem and all of the food came out within 15 minutes ordering. The food itself was great! We got a few entrees and a main to share:
Prawn and Scallop Skewers
Satay Chicken
Mussels
Sizzling Trio Meat & Veges
All were very good! Would highly recommend!
Had both takeaways and sit in from Thai lagoon and so far they haven’t disappointed! Tried the mei goreng duck, pad Thai, satay chicken, Thai green curry and a few others. Kiwi hot is definitely spicy so if you’re not one for spice the medium would be my go too! Always super flavoursome and friendly staff. A bit pricey for takeaways but yum yum yum

Delicious options from a wide-ranging menu including kids' choices. Servings are generous (we two could have split one entree and one main with rice and would have had enough). Chef mixes spices to perfection, delivering finely-crafted flavoursome dishes.
Really good thai food in a lovelly setting. First of all staff were great, really friendly and fantastic with our kids.
Food was great too, really good flavours, fresh ingredients and heaps of veggies. Only comment I'd make is that 'medium' is not very spicy. It didn't have the kick I was expecting, so in future I will opt for hot.Dessert was not a strong point. A microwaved chocolate cake and some ice cream, but it didn't take anything away from the great entrees and mains.
Several people we know recommended this restaurant & we are so glad we went. First of all the service was outstanding and second the food was out of this world good. And my partner doesn't usually eat Thai and he loved the food here.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is really pretty & the delivery of food was so quick.
I have a feeling we will be back at this restaurant sometime in the future. We were really impressed and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone!

I have eaten there on many occasions and never been disappointed. Their Massaman curry remains up there as one of the best I have ever encountered in any restaurant. I was so impressed with our meal on Saturday it was time to give credit where credit is well due. The entrée Tom Kai soup , which I have tried before, was sensational. A perfect balance of sweet and sour, coconut, subtle lemon grass, mushroom and chicken. My wife and I were supposed to be "sharing" it but it was so delicious the "sharing" became a bit intense and next time we will be forced to have one each to maintain matrimonial bliss!. My duck curry was superb with lychees, pineapple and grapes and yet again a perfect balance of flavours. The cashew stir fry had smoky wok flavours and intense, well balanced sauce.. Service was very pleasant and attentive and I could not fault the entire experience. It is my go to Thai restaurant for entertaining. It is always consistently good and well worthy of a 5 star rating. BYO is a nice plus too.Very well done team.

Great choice for Asian cuisine in the Raumati/Paraparaumu area. Service is good. Food is good. Beer and wine list reasonably priced. If you’re used to Asian food in Asia you can ask for “Thai hot” but I recommend you request extra chopped chilli.

Hands down best restaurant on the Coast. Extraordinary menu, exquisite sauces, fabulous food, wonderful staff, impressive management.
Be adventurous in your choices. While delicious Pad Thai and Nasi Goreng are available try something else and be prepared to be dazzled.
Can't praise them highly enough!!! And no, I know noone who works there.
