We went here for my 28th birthday night & I couldn’t have had a more perfect experience here.
The food was out of this world & the service so attentive. We were topped up in drinks in a great way & delivered our food so quickly. The onion bahjj… yum!!!
Probably the best butter chicken I’ve had in Wellington & the naan bread was scrumptious.
This is a hidden delight in Petone & we couldn’t recommend it more.
Really enjoyed a family dinner here on a quiet Monday evening. Food was spectacular.
So far this is my pick for the best curry in Petone. Chili and Spice lives up to its name in terms of heat - I normally opt for a hot curry and was happy that I went down to a medium for this visit. My bhuna chicken was delicious and pushed towards the top of my temperature tolerance. The large portions also proved to be a challenge. So lessons learned and next time we’ll be sharing a main and selecting a side each (definitely the onion bhaji). Highly recommended.
Writing this review after another great dinner here (ate too much, as always...). Lucky (and dangerous) to live pretty close to this place, by far my favourite Indian restaurant. The food is exceptional, everything we tried so far is so good that we have a hard time picking just one thing. Always getting the naan though, that's a no brainer.
What kept us coming is also the wonderful service. Sunil is always so warm and welcoming, we're always looking forward to eating here. Hands down one of the best places around.
Here in Wellington for a holiday and decided to try Chilli N Spice for dinner a few days ago. The best Indian curry we got so far! The staff is funny and friendly. The curry was delicious. Would recommend 😊
Chilli n Spice team are great. They have been good at going lengths to listening to us and oblige if we would like them to customise anything. Atmosphere is great, Sunil and his team of Chefs are awesome. We are very fond of this place and they are kid’s friendly.
We had dinner last night in petone branch. We don’t have words to explain about Food Quality It was Superb. 5 star to all chef’s and staff. We will be back soon. 👍
Absolutely love Chilli n Spice! The food is some of the best Indian cuisine i’ve ever had, and we love it so much that we eat here every Saturday. Favourite dishes are the chicken tikka masala and the lamb chops. The service is always impeccable, thanks to our favourite host who always greets us with a smile, a laugh, and knows our order as soon as we sit down. He’s always helping us choose new dishes to try when we want to switch it up too! I always recommend Chilli n Spice as a place to come and eat. 10/10 every time
We went last night for mothers day celebration. I was with my family. It took a little while to serve the food, we understand because I use to worked in the kitchen and I know how difficult it is. My baby is a bit grumpy but all our waiting was worth it. The food is very good. It was our first time here at chili n spice and I can say that they are the best Indian restaurant I have tasted in all of Wellington.
Very nice and cozy Indian cuisine restaurant.. Spacious and has good ambience.. Food is very good, portion sizes are really nice and big.. Excellent main street location.. Very cheerful and efficient staff..
