Beautiful ice cream! So rich and creamy! I tried both their chocolate range and fruit range. I love the mango and strawberry flavours as well as the chocolate fudge. Delicious! A treat worth the extra calories.

The sorbet tasted like it was made with a lot of care. Very refreshing and not overly sweet, and it felt like the sorbet wasn’t reliant on added sugar as opposed to letting the ingredients speak for themselves.

The best icecream and the friendliest team! Our 2 year old loves going to Mrs Ferg to see the girls and have a baby scoop of chocolate gelato. They make such a fuss of him. We love having a coffee it’s a perfect result!
Located next to Ferg Bakery this shop gets quite busy at times. Delicious gelato. Nice idea to get an ice cream whilst standing in the queue for your burgers.
This place is heaven! Just the sight of all those different Ice Cream flavors in the rack make you feel like floating in the clouds. It took us quite a while to decide what to get.. coz there’s many to choose from.. right!? So we ended up ordering Affogato and Belgian Hot Chocolate. Affogato was great, the bitter espresso perfectly complementing the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream. Belgian Hot Chocolate was nice as well, right amount of bitterness plus adding up the marshmallows on the side made it perfect. The place, although full of people going in and out, was clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly.

In Queenstown it felt like Ferg’s anything is THE PLACE to go to. No matter whether it’s Fergsburger, Mrs Fergs, Fergs Baker or Ferg’s bar, it’s like everything this Ferg company touches turns to gold.
We tried Mrs Ferg after dinner tonight. You can taste test icecream first before buying, and their double espresso chocolate chip was delicious!
Kiddo chose vanilla, and I could definitely see specks of vanilla bean on their icecream! Hubby had salted caramel, he said their icecream is much better than Patongia down the road (although pls note we did not try Patagonia’s caramel icecream, don’t even know if they have a caramel flavour!)
The only gripe I had is that the shop is very stuffy, when the weather gets hot and there is no air con the inside is stifling- I guess best time to eat more icecream! 🤣
The toilets are a bit manky too 🤢 try going somewhere else even if you are desperate! ☹️
Delicious ice cream, although I missed the crunchy honeycomb bits in the hokey pokey. But the white chocolate and macadamia was really yum.

Had the lemon mirengue ice cream (may have been a special) and it was heaven. Serving size was pretty small for the price of 7.50 for a single scoop, but the ice cream was so good
Came by for dessert after passing it a few times. The thing that stood out to me was the Boston ice cream sandwich. They sandwiched an ice cream of your flavour in between their Boston cream buns, which is then served with chocolate sauce.
Tasty and quite filling. They also had other desserts like ice cream sundaes. Plenty of delicious options and it is usually closer than their main branch on Shotover Street.
We stopped by later in the evening so there was usually seats available.
Made it the trifecta today with Ferg Baker for lunch and Mrs Ferg Beach St. for post dinner dessert.
It’s a well presented shop, with tons of treats and heaps of options. Staff were pretty friendly, and the flavours were all very tasty. I strayed away from my usual flavours (at least one of them), and opted for a cone of blueberry yoghurt (sublime!), and chocolate gelato (intense chocolate but not too bitter). Yeah, will most like pay them another visit before we leave town!
