The food, customer service and atmosphere were awesome! We had the gluten free 4 cheese pizza and it was the best gluten free pizza base around, the Hawaiian pizza on a regular base again it was outstanding and had a good amount of toppings. Also tried the gluten free pasta with mussels and prawns and that was also delicious and very flavorful. For dessert we had the gelato and it also was very good. Kids really enjoyed everything also. We are looking forward to our next visit to try some more of the pizzas and entrees. Very pleasant experience and highly recommend to everyone. ��

Upon entering you are greeted with a sensory overload of delicious aromas, a menagerie of visual delights, and sensuous sounds of Italy. The staff welcome you with genuine smiles and interest. They are happy to adapt the menu to suit our vegan diet, adding our own cheese and making pizzas to suit us, with not even slightest hesitation or indignation. The food is perfect, in flavour, in presentation and in delivery. Its so nice to be able to watch our meal being made, fresh from the best produce, and with obvious passion from the chef.
Its a groovy little restaurant, with a beautifully funky and relaxing atmosphere. Could easily become our fave spot to eat out, without doubt!
Ordered online a Tagliatelle pasta with carbonara sauce with bacon and a ravioli with cheese sauce and walnuts as takeaways. Ready in 30mins for pickup. The food was absolutely delicious and will definitely order more from here. Was $56 for the 2 meals which was well worth it and there was enough for our lunch the following day.

Best Italian food in Rotorua hands down. Love the three cheese Ravioli. After eating it i was watching Italian food shows for weeks 😁. Nice pizza as well and owners/staff are very friend. Great selection of food, drinks and atmosphere. What more could you ask for. Must try if your visiting Rotorua. Venture away from eat street in rotorua towards redwood side of the lake for a relaxed dinner environment.
I travelled from Australia for a holiday and visited the restaurant and I LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! If you're in Rotorua it is definitely worth visiting and having a meal there! The staff there are also so lovely! Will be visiting again next time I travel to Rotorua.
Beautiful food. We normally just order pizza (which is delicious by the way) but decided to eat in and try something new. The lanky was melt in your mouth and flavourful, I had Chorizo and Prawns, wow beautiful flavours, and the Bruschetta Italian as a main , fresh and good portion. Thank you for a lovely experience.
Oh my God, so nice Italian restaurant. The staff is friendly, The pizza was amazing. Top 3 pizza I have ever eaten in NZ. Will come back for sure, to try more dishes. Well done guys. Thank you very much.

I dined here on locals night, my waitress Nicola was absolutely fabulous, she recommended some of her favourite dishes such as the creamy basil pesto, which is what i ordered and it was just amazing, so creamy and full of flavour. i did not eat it all however the next day it was still delicious. the restaurant was so clean and the decorations were gorgeous, definitely will dine here again. Great place
Delicious pizza! One of the best I've ever had! But the star of the night was the bruschetta. Don't forget to try it!
Had my first meal at Giovanni’s tonight and must say it is honestly the best dine-in you can get in Rotorua! Friendly staff, delicious meals and great atmosphere!
