Best chocolates ever with excitingly different flavours you won't have experienced that burst in your palette. Orders taken. They deliver if you aren't able to call in.

Artisanal Chocolates with stories behind them. 🙂 Clockwise from left: This blue "porcelain teacup" chocolate's flavor is Earl Grey, and it carries the story of how 14th century Europeans "stole" the techniques for porcelain-making from the Chinese. They made this skill their own, and adapted it to the porcelain teacups they used everyday at tea time. Meanwhile the dark chocolate Manuka Honey piece pays tribute to the famously healthy honey of New Zealand. Next to it is the Lemon Balm, and artist / chocolate maker Sabine uses herbs from her own garden to create this piece that warms like medicine while bringing joy as a dessert. Last but not least we have Lemon Meringue, and it tastes exactly like the bakery delicacy, which makes you wonder how it came in the form of chocolate. 😊 All these surprising and storied flavors (and more!) are available at Dangerous Chocolate

Lovely start to the day! Wonderful and friendly service. The hot chocolate is delightful and it was a real treat to have a freshly made almond croissant. Stunning range of beautifully crafted chocolates. Well worth a visit ☺️

We are here so often we should probably be chipping in for rent. Our favourite Coffee in town! Best Hot Chocolate & Mochas. Made even better with a fresh croissant, plain or almond or one of Sabines brownie pies! And the Chocolate is out of this world! We’ve just about tried them all, the chocolate on its own is amazing - milk, dark, caramel, and newly discovered strawberry! But the filled chocolates are our favourite and there are always new creations to try - the white chocolate feijoa liqueur was the latest stroke of genius as was the black forest cherry and the strawberry chocolate bar! Sabine is an absolute artist and master of flavour and we can’t get enough of what she creates. Including her Cakes! As someone with a fully fledged chocolate addiction I’ve tried all the gourmet brands and hand on heart DANGEROUS CHOCOLATE IS THE BEST. We get all of our gifts here, and feel so proud to gift such delicious and beautifully crafted treats to our friends & family. You have made us very popular with your faberge-esq Easter eggs and your rosy-cheeked, rotund Christmas Santas. Friendly, beautiful & talented people. Thank you Gary and Sabine! We are so lucky to get you in our little town!

Took a class on making chocolate with Dangerous Chocolate and a group of my friends. Not only did we come away with heaps of chocolate, we learnt the basics, tips and tricks of the trade. We were provided with pastries, coffee/hot chocolate and some crossiants (a member of our group mentioned that Sabine had ruined other crossiants for him because he enjoyed them so much). Highly recommend this class. The chocolates were amazing, the food and drinks were excellent and Sabine made the class interesting and we loved hearing interesting tidits about her life.

I have had the pleasure to have Chocolate, iced Chocolate and hot Chocolate from here, the owner is a goddess with her creations and a wonderful person to talk with and learn about her passion. If you want to indulge for yourself or buy a special gift for someone you love, you won't be disappointed with a piece of heaven in your mouth. And a good laugh with helpful staff.

The chocolate is a bit pricey. But great customer service, the almond croissants are 10/10. Coffee is great. Overall amazing experience given by passionate and welcoming owners.
