Outstanding. Excellent food. Cooked to perfection. Makes great use of local ingredients and the local water is great for noodle soups. Fried dumplings are recommend, crispy and tasty. Food possibly tastes better than in Japan! Highly recommended.
Nice Japanese decor, friendly service, and beautifully presented food. The sushi, as well as the chicken ramen, taste good but the teriayki tofu was way too salty.
This is a restaurant with a good atmosphere, a relaxed vibe and excellent food. The staff is knowledgeable, polite and friendly. I had the sashimi and the tuna was fresh, thick cut and delicious. There is a good variety of Japanese beer and there was no feeling of being rushed. Though the physical space is small, the owners have done a great job of spreading tables out so you you do not feel crowded and still get a feeling of intimacy. Whether it is for a lunch or a dinner this is a great spot for a date or the family.
Nice decoration, beautiful atmosphere, prices are very reasonable, service was very friendly and time efficient. However felt like noodles in my ramen were 2 minute noodles, would have enjoyed it more if they were hand made.
Love the authentic japanese food. Love how they decorate the restaurant and the ambient. Food portion is a bit smaller than expected and price is bit high. Love the souvenirs corner with authentic japanese toys.

Great service and atmosphere, probably took 10 minutes since we ordered till it got to the table.
We had the deluxe lunch set which was excellent value for money at $24 in NZ where eating out tends to be on the expensive side. We got a miso soup, a small sashimi platter, a 4 PC tempura and a teriyaki chicken bowl. Didn't manage to take any photos coz we were too hungry!
We also ordered a pork katsu rice bowl and a California roll.
Thoroughly enjoyed our lunch today!
This place is brilliant and quick you can have take aways or stay at this beautiful Japanese style restaurant as the food is quick and quality, it is extremely delicious the food and deserts. Very good place I highly recommend it .

first time back in ages and was absolutely blown away! Lovely ambience, great attentive service and the food was next level...all our meals were prepared with such attention to detail, the freshness and flavours were outstanding, with a very short waiting time. thank you so much we will definitely return soon, also loved the items for sale at the counter! super kawaii 😍
