I am not a fan of roasts but their pork is divine. Even the potatoes and fried chicken.
Also lovely people in there.
I haven't tried the gravy yet though. Next probably will try the ribs.
Wow i loveeeeeeeee this place!!! I have been coming here for years, basically since it opened and is most definitely the best roast takeaway on the coast and haven’t found many that match up to it around the north shore either. so delish!! Staff are always lovely and friendly and the place always looks very clean and well cared for.
Best 'takeaway roast' i have ever had. Very large serving with lots of beef and kumara. I really like how the gravy is served separately so nothing is soggy. Add in their charming staff and this place is a winner!
Came here for lunch. The beef roast roll combo was delicious. Also had a smoked beef brisket roll. It was probably the best beef brisket that I have tasted. The staff were really friendly and kind. Gave us an extra piece of chicken. They were also very generous in the portion of meat going into the roll. They were also kind enough to cut the two rolls we ordered in halves as my partner and I wanted half and half. Really impressed and will recommend more people to go there.
I worked two shops away and I could smell the divine smell of roast while I was working so I decided to get some takeout after my shift. I got some ribs and roast pork. They tasted amazing. Definitely will go back.
Food was great, your typical roast shop quality. The ribs however were outstanding, so delicious. The highlight of this restaurant though was the service, the staff were absolutely lovely. Very friendly, very helpful and went the extra mile. They were extremely apologetic when they had run out of something I asked for and even gave me a free extra to make up for it which was not necessary but really lovely. Will definitely be visiting again.
We purchased a large lamb meal, with a side of creamy potatoes and Yorkshire puddings, to feed a family of two adults and two children. This was good value at around $25.
I think we got the end of the piece of lamb because it was rather crumbly. The gravy was served separately, but tasted like it was from a packet.
Everything else was good and there was enough food.
I go here for lunch very regularly. Lunch roast is good value at $9.90, check out the pic. The service is friendly and fast. Will be trying out the ribs sometime real soon.
Loved the rack of ribs...not too saucy and cooked too perfection...even tried the drumsticks and I reckon there up there with one of the best southern fried type chicken..customer service was friendly and they had plenty of customers so that tells ya something..
. They didn't give me gravy ( A Roast with no Gravy!? ) good roast shop . Everybody loves a nice roasted potato. I will probably return and just make sure I get my gravy next time.

We had a large pork meal with potatoes, crackling, and veggies. The meat and the potatoes were cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the pork roll, he heats the roll up👌 if I could give 10 stars I would.
Dine in or take away, you choose. Their Brisket is my favorite, but only available on Fridays! Always friendly and generous in portions. And most of all delicious. Their Ribs look amazing, maybe next time, but I just can’t not get the brisket! Their roast pork with crackling is my wife’s fav. Highly recommend and is the best roast place I’ve been to.
…wow…I bought the roast pork about 15 minutes ago, currently eating it in my car and cannot stop eating…my god. 100% recommend! Best roast I’ve ever had in my life hands down! Would travel for this. YUM
On Thursday night I ordered 400g of pork, bbq ribs and two fried chicken legs. Was told the brisket is only on Fridays...
So Friday I got a fried chicken combo and a brisket medium meal.
Totally the best roast meals.
We stopped by for lunch after going to Snowplanet. We took away our meal to eat at the beach.
We were there on a Friday and they, fortunately, had brisket available. Unfortunately, the ribs were only available after 1600. We grabbed a large portion of the brisket and the roast pork. The staff were really helpful and friendly, suggesting what we should order for our group.
The brisket was delicious, nice flavour and quite juicy. The pork was a little dry but the crackling was amazing and we got quite a large tub of gravy with the meals. It came with the standard sides; peas, carrot, kumara, potato and pumpkin. The potato was amazing with a nice crunchy outer layer and creamy interior.
It was a nice place for a quick meal but it was a bit disappointing that the ribs weren't available for lunch.
I loved the chicken and potatoes they were on point 🔥. The apple crumble and custard was Delicious. The guy at the front was very talkative and was amazing with his customers they deserve to have more customers in.

it was amazing, we came late before they closed they didnt have much left so they gave us some free potatos and 2 free chocolate muese (idk how to spell it) they food was a 10 out of 10 they workers were so nice loved it. def goin back there again
The meat and roasted vegetables are just great, dump some gravy on top. Woo-hoo, great boy food.
And surprise, custard and apple crumble.
