Throughout the course of my life, i have always felt something was missing. Then on the 19th November 2023, I discovered Win Wah Chinese Restaraunt. Immediately as i entered the premises, i have never felt so complete as a human being. Win Wah bought my life together and it changed it for the better. As the food entered my mouth, an explosion of flavour took over. My tastebuds couldn’t stop thanking me for this absolutely breathtaking experience. The service was genuinely the most welcomed I have ever felt in my entire life. I felt as if i was walking into my families home on christmas morning, I got treated as a son. Since visiting Win Wahs, i have never been so confident in my entire life. I have been beaming with confidence and I have been an absolute unit for the ladies. To conclude everything that had been stated so far, Win Wahs is a life-changing experience. A gift from the heavens. Taste of an angel. Thank you Win Wahs for gifting us with this extraterrestrial experience.
I was taking out and it wasnt busy, so my food arrived very quickly. It was really fresh!!!! And scrummy!

Don't let the storefront lack of curb appeal fool you! This place has the best fish and chips of any takeaway shop my wife and I have tried in New Zealand bar none! and we have sampled many over North and South Island over our several trips here from Canada. Shop and decor inside is Spartan but clean, staff is friendly, prices are very reasonable and as another review previously mentioned their cooking oil is fresh. The battered fish portions are huge and perfectly cooked and chips are very tasty! I would definately drive several km out of my way to come back if in the area!
When you stop in at a busy fish & chips shop on a Monday night you know you've found something good. The crumbed Snapper was delicious. Burgers very good. Well worth the wait. Thank you

A good, cheap meal- fish was three times the size of what we usually get at home. Huge range of food availble. Recommend walking up to new world and getting tomato sauce while you wait, those little tins just aren't enough!
Really good size pieces of fish. Everything cooked well. Reasonable prices. Happy campers, all 18 of us visiting from Hastings Air Cadets.
Fab crumbed fish generous size, crisp non greasy chips... Would eat here again and recommend to others, cooked to order by worth the 20 min wait.
