This is one of my favourite places. I travel a lot and visit Tauranga often and I've never had a bad experience at tbis place. The food is great - with a fantastic bakery range as well. The owners are super friendly. When you place your order and give your name, they always use it during service. This is one of the few cafes i actually
look forward to visiting. Cant recommend it enough.

If you have not been to this hidden gem - go give it a try. Wonderful food, great ambience and great service. The decor is very neat and chic. Prices are very reasonable. The iced coffee is actually proper coffee and it is beautifully balanced (not too overly creamy or sweet). The custard slice and oaty caramel slice was divine!! Definitely quality ingredients. Our burgers were amazing - the fish was cooked to perfection. Wonderul portions too. Their teas are quality loose leaf not the old tea bag. Really really worth giving it a try!

Wow! Loved it. First time visiting The Dry Dock Cafe and had eggs bene with bacon (homemade hollandaise!) as well as a coffee. Service was great and the food and drink were delicious. Will definitely be back!

Shine extracts the most amazing coffees which I don't mind driving all the way from Hamilton. I can honestly say that I was served the most delicious Bacon & Eggs I have ever had. The eggs were free range and so fresh. Poached to perfection with a bright orange lava yolk. The Bacon devine. The service was amazing, we were greeted with big smiles and nothing was a problem. We were even cheerily waved at goodbye. I will sing about this place from the roof tops to everyone i know heading too or passing through Tauranga

Without a doubt, the best cafe in Tauranga!!! My wife and I have a coffee at The Dry Dock most days of the week and it is always perfect. The staff are fantastic, friendly and exceptionally welcoming. Sandra is an absolute delight, always smiling and always taking the time to make clients feel special. It is a sad day when The Dry Dock is not open as coffee and service anywhere else (that we have been anyway) does not match the superiority that one experiences at The Dry Dock. We would highly recommend visiting Sandra and the Team (that very much includes Roger.... :-)

Sandra has, undoubtedly the best coffee in Tauranga and a fantastic friendly personality that makes you feel welcome. I recommend her flat white and any of her muffins to go with it:) I'm a regular there and have been for over 12 months now and when I walk in, she knows exactly what I get and just goes about making it. Her staff are friendly and professional and they work hard to keeps the hoards of people fed and watered. This establishment is a credit to Sandra and her team and I have no problem with recommending Dry Dock cafe:)

Excellent coffee. All sizes served with double shot unless single requested. Lovely friendly service. Sadly the attractive male barista mentioned in another review has moved on but the lovely girl on the pumps did a fantastic job!

We did a bottomless dinner with a large group of ladies and the manager was amazing! She was so good at ensuring we all got we needed and sought us all blankets when the sun went down! Food was amazing, drinks menu for the bottomless was huge. And value for money was insanely good! Atmosphere was lovely! 10/10

The best cafe in Tauranga CBD. Staff are friendly, inviting and experienced. Definitely 💯 percent worth a coffee stop. They also have started Friday and Saturday night trading xx $8 🍹 cocktails!!!

Their scrambled eggs are delicious. Seasoned well, eggs have a bit of color to them, which I like. It's pleasant around 730am for sunrise if a nice morning.

Just love this place, conveniently located in Wharf Street, just off The Strand. The food is great - I particularly recommend the big breakfast and the French toast; the coffee is awesome and the staff are super friendly. Definitely a great place to hang out in Tauranga City Centre.

The vibe at DOCA is impeccable! It reminds me of an old build Berlin appartment with its high sealings and the plants growing through the place! You get a warm welcome and fast service when you walk in. The food is outstanding! I can only recommend the house made hollandaise! Beautiful for a lunch date, but on the weekends, it's definitely worth checking out the summer vibes with dj and cocktails!

Had the best time at DOCA cafe last night. My family and I went to the bottomless dinner, the food was so yummy! The drinks were delicious, atmosphere, music and waiters were awesome! Thank you soo much ladies we had the best time and highly recommend this experience!
