A cheeky lunch date with my gorgeous daughter.
Where to go with a culinary challenged dining partner, whose dietary scope is generally fried chicken, nachos or butter chicken. When I already know, 2 days in advance, that I want a Bloody Mary with my lunch. Lone Star you’re up.
The beautiful girl has an early lunch break so we were first in. We were welcomed by a super friendly server who asked where we would like to sit and got straight on to drinks. I knew already that I liked her. She was mortified to have to come back and inform me there was no Worcestershire sauce for my drink. I settled on bubbles instead. 5 minutes later she popped back to let me know the chef had gone out and got the Worcestershire sauce if I’d rather have the Bloody Mary. At this point it ceased to matter whether the food was any good, I was in love.
But the food was good. The Beautiful One had the Ellie Rose wrap, chicken, bacon salad deliciousness and fries for $24. She wasn’t expecting it toasted, and it was “well” toasted, but she said it was absolutely lovely. I had the Ranch Salad with chicken which also had feta and roast pumpkin. It was amazingly flavourful and fresh. The server was friendly, engaging and actually seemed happy to be there. Top marks and good value.
My partner and I walked in for a few drinks and sat at the bar. We started chatting to the bartender/owner who was absolutely lovely, asking us about our holiday and our lives in Australia and everything in between, as well as providing us with local recommendations of things to do. The staff were extremely friendly and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for having us guys it was great chatting to you all!
We had our son's birthday party at Lone Star last night and it was excellent! Our group was quite large and lots going on but the staff were always friendly and helpful, the food was delicious and they went the extra mile singing happy birthday to our son and bringing his dessert our with a candle. He even got a Lone Star T-shirt! Our waitress was excellent and didn't get any orders wrong, she was so lovely and patient and fun with the kids! All in all a GREAT night had by all! Couldn't recommend these guys more!!

We came out to lone star for my daughters 14th birthday… great positive atmosphere!! Our waitress Jemima was lovely and helpful, food was tasty and deserts were brilliant! Definitely coming again, thanks to all the great front of house staff providing service throughout the night :)
Attended my Uncles 60th birthday here, absolutely loved the service, the waitresses were amazing aswell as the cheif that night.. Highly recommended to all. Fairly priced and the food is sensational. Upstairs bar has an amazing view. Will definetly be dining in more regularly. Well done guys A+++🤩🤩🤩
Came in and was served by Ali again, amazing service as usual, I look forward to coming in and seeing her again. The new prawn cocktail was delicious! Will definitely try the new tacos next time.
We had a great time here last night. My Husband ordered salmon, I had mussels for dinner. It was so delicious. The service was excellent. The girls are so kind and friendly. Thank you 🌼
Just had a birthday dinner and what AMAZING service!! Right from walking through the door to the end of our dinner, the service was top tier. Even when it started filling up service was consistent. Massive shout out to Lesa for her AMAZING service!! Cocktails were delicious, kai was nice and once again service was on point. Will definitely be going back.
