We don't have a lot of cafe options in Welcome Bay. However, this cafe is the pick of the bunch. It is right on the roundabout of Welcome Bay Road and state highway 29a. However, it is surrounded by the plants in the garden centre. The coffee is good, the staff are friendly and they're dog friendly.
Nice little cafe with good food, coffee and service. Try the scones, MASSIVE incapitals and very filling.

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch. We are both dairy intolerant, the staff were very accommodating. We ordered the open chicken sandwich with fries, it was beautiful cooked & really well presented on the plate. The kumara fries were the best I've had, well tolerated by my system LoL. The long black was excellent, a small jug of cold water for the long black was the only thing that was lacking. Definitely recommend.
Great covered outdoor area...perfect for avoiding indoor aerosols during a pandemic! And mustn't forget one of this cafe's great drawcards and brand differences: Charlie the chillwd cafe cat. He's been the cafe's welcoming presence for many years. 👍❤
I had the pleasure of grabbing a bite here this afternoon.
The service is brilliant, the staff warm and friendly.
As soon as I sat down, iced water was given to me and my coffee was brought soon after.
The food was just scrumptious and beautifully presented.
A wonderful place to relax and enjoy a meal.
Latte was wonderful and food was excellent. Ordered wedges with cheese and bacon....plenty for two. Beautifully presented and would order again. Will definitely return soon and take friends there. Thanks.
Great cafe can sit outside or in. Friendly staff. Good section of cabinet or menu food. Best sausage roll and chips had for ages.
Only downside is interior of cafe could do with a 're vamp. Coffee very good.
Great coffee and muffins. Staff awesome Decor needs updating.
