“One of the most enjoyable meals I’ve had so far hands down” says my husband. We drove down from Auckland looking for a good quick meal and we stumbled upon New Hong Kong Takeaway. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but we were completely blown away by the food.
We ordered the chicken burger $4, 5 chicken wings $5, chips $2 and chicken egg noodle $11. Chicken wings were delicious as they were crispy and perfectly seasoned! Chips were exactly how I like my chips crispy and starchy. Chicken noodles were bang on as they had the char grilled flavour to them and very well seasoned. Chicken burger wasn’t the best but it was decent for $4.
Overall I would come again.

We were introduced to this takeaway restaurant by a friend. They served their food in a small amount but was fresh and hot. It was buffet style (eat all you can) you can repeat taking the food served in the food trays until you were full. The price was cheap.

LOVE the deep fried CHICKEN WINGS!!! you gotta try them theres no going back after that!:-) great chinese food. cosy little restaurant area. friedndly service. has been around for many years i believe. if you go near closing the smorgasboard meals are redeuced in $. Real, big, juicy chunks of pork in the sweet and sour! try the chicken wings! great meal deals too. place to go when in greerton!

It's an awesome place with delicious food to cater for all members of the family. From delicious Chinese to burgers and hotdogs for the kids. And the chicken wings are just amazing. And what better than to pay a great price for great food. The owners are also so helpful and pleasant to talk to and willing to alter orders to suit your own needs. They make it work when things just seem impossible when ordering for large groups. We ordered several platters at short notice and amazingly they got us through it. Highly recommended for every occasion

We love this place. The Chinese food is always super fresh and hot. The staff are always happy to accommodate our dietary needs. The Beef in Black Bean is our go-to every time!

At a quieter time of day food is awesome, perfectly cooked and large portions. Good prices too :) Best not to visit at peak times though as food is often rushed and portions are a little small. It's also a funny atmosphere with the children behind the counter after school.

young man at the front desk (I think his name was willhung) was very polite, cheap food and great service. Would recommend to anyone in the greerton area. Willhung served me fresh wonton noodles, really made my day.

You know it's gonna be good Chinese food when the menu board is decrepit, hard to read, and the premises are under maintained. And this place didn't disappoint: the food was good and nicely priced. Recommend Family Special B.
