Absolutely scrumptious! Food was out the gate. My favourite dish of the night the beetroot salad!
Our waitress Maddi deserves a gold star. She was friendly, charismatic and super duper helpful. She helped with my decision making as there were so many dishes I wanted to try.

Our experience at Sugo was absolutely wonderful. We arrived early for our reservation, but the staff was accommodating and sat us at the bar until our table was available. We had both a spritzer and a wine, which were both great. Both the standard and plant based menus had great food options, all of which tasted excellent. The service was incredible - quick, attentive, and friendly. Thank you for an incredible dining experience!

I had my wedding reception at Sugo - it was the most wonderful experience, the staff were so attentive and friendly the whole night. The food is fabulous, with a range to cater for everyone. Anthony the manager made sure that everything went smoothly and catered to all our requests!

Love, love, love this place. Exceptional food, choices, flavours, drinks. Wait staff are great too. One of our party required gluten free food - there were so many options, she was so impressed - the pasta she opted for was the best ever she said.
Service was great from both the host & our waiter & the food was phenomenal. Highlights for us were the scallop entree & the lamb ragu but the lasagna was also amazing. We’ll most definitely be back. Loved that they had a separate plant based menu as well.
Had a brilliant experience this evening at Sugo- my server was friendly, incredibly attentive (even though I was the only person outside, he was sure to check on me) and gave good, honest recommendations.
I had a Bianco spritz which was everything it promised, and a perfect accompaniment to my meal.
I had their carrot salad entree which, as lame as it sounds, really was a celebration of vegetables! Before even eating it I was awed by the presentation of the food. It was so well thought out, light but filling, texturally very impressive and most of all was absolutely delicious! I ordered a garlic pizza crust to go with it (more so I could eat every last drop of the cashew cream and orange/carrot sauce!) Which was simple and very well executed, it complimented everything else so nicely! I'll definitely be back!
Sugo is always amazing. The food is always exceptional and service too. We had Benji looking after us, absolutely made our night. Just so very friendly and so sweet!
Given we had our 7 month old with us, the speed at which our meals came out was amazing!

Sugo was recommended to me by a Tauranga local and I really enjoyed it. The service was good and the food delicious. I had the ricotta tortellini and a side salad, along with a glass of wine, and loved all of it. It's beautiful inside. Definitely a fancier place to go, price wise, but so worth it.
Great meal at Sugo. We arrived late to dine with no reservation. Staff accommodated us and were happy to move us to a better table. Food was great. Highly recommend
