Excellent pizza, food and service! Best pizza in town. Very nice dining.

We had dinner and it was delicious. I had the pasta and my fiance had the pizza. Serving sizes were large and the pizza had ample toppings. Owners were lovely and service was wonderful. Not sure how this place has so many bad reviews. Food came out within 20mins so there wasn't a long wait of 1hr plus like everywhere else in town. Loved the decor, alot of thought has gone into giving it a lovely rustic homey feel. We will dine here again if we pass through Te Anau in the future.

Delicious food and beautiful atmosphere! I tried The Local (chicken, bacon, Camembert, and cranberry sauce!) and it was spectacular! I’ll definitely try to make my own version with turkey around Thanksgiving time.

I really enjoyed the experience. I really liked the pizza. Its not a 5 star restaurant but, they deserve 5 stars to offset some of these harsh reviews that seem very undeserving.

By chance we saw the restaurant. It looked very inviting and we still havn't regretted it. The woman at the counter was very friendly. The pizza and salad were delicious!!! The first really good pizza on our NZ trip! WE WILL COME BACK AGAIN!

Found the service to be perfectly friendly and adequate, contrary to some reviews. Could be some misunderstanding of simple German efficiency in communication! The place is also obviously well loved by the owner who has put a lot of thought and personality into the decore. I think it's created a nice atmosphere. Pizzas were pretty good, not amazing, but nor were they as terrible as some reviews suggest.

Long wait for pizza. Shortage of staff is most likely the reason but time doesn't seem to care, especially if the bus is leaving in 10 minutes. Pizza was good. Quiet place with plenty of seating when we were there around noon on a weekday. If time is on your side, it's a good choice.

Very obliging about food intolerances. Surprisingly nice wine too! I get what people mean about the decor needing an update, but our food was perfect.

Good service and pretty good tasting pizza (we ordered Zeus - vegetarian pizza). Personally I found this place good and would happily recommend to anyone passing by. The prices are a little high but something you expect to see in all tourist towns.
