We recently had a brunch for 26 people at Churchills and the staff handled that amount of people like they do it everyday. The food and service was great, would highly recommend and thank you to everyone at Churchills.
Thank you to all the staff for accommodating my son and I today for brunch ... we are severe coeliac and the staff went to extra measures to ensure our safety which exceeded my expectations ... well done on providing a clean well maintained cafe in te awamutu ... a great cafe to suit all needs and has a great atmosphere and ambience ... I was extra surprised to see sunblock for customers to use at the counter excellent and we will be back
Wow what an amazing cafe from the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was an awesome experience. We were welcomed by such happy and friendly staff, the selection of food is out of this world. Something for everyone. All good is made onsite! The menu on this website is out of date! The service was great, our food was delivered and looked amazing. I definitely will be making the long drive to come back here with my family regularly. It is honestly an awesome cafe!! Best ever service staff are so helpful and nice strongly recommend anyone to go and see for them selves . Food is great A+ great outdoor area to sit and enjoy food . Always hello how are you when you enter and see you later when you leave. Beat coffee in town and they make me a white and dark hot chocolate drink that's the best
Arrived for lunch to an amazingly warm welcome by the staff. Ordered a west African fruit and pork hot pot as I have never had anything like that before and what a fabulous experience! I seriously would recommend this to anyone. We had such a great dining experience, coffee to die for, service that you could not fault and just an all round fantastic place! Can't wait to go back!!!
We use this remarkable establishment for our early morning supervisor meetings! And every time is as gr8 as the previous! The muesli is my favourite!!!! And the chai latte!!!! Wonderful staff,gr8 chef's!!!!
Visit Churchills reasonably often for lunch, food is generally good clearly made on the premises, though wouldn't rave about the Kebabs. We had always had good service and staff are friendly, have heard others complain it is slow but haven't experienced that. Unfortunately they have stopped doing evening meals, had the best meal in Te Awamutu here some time ago.
Just had my 1st visit to Churchill's and it won't be the last. The staff where friendly and helpful with suggestions, the cafe is spotless and a pleasure to dine in. Superb coffee and the food was fresh and tasty. Parking not really a hassle as you can use the Homewards carpark. Well priced. Thanks ladies!
We have dined here frequently even travelling from Hamilton. It is great value and the food is awesome. Well worth a try.
Recently a group of 8 of us went to Churchills for a birthday dinner. The service was good, the waitress regularly checking that we were ok for drinks. The food was impeccably cooked, was beautifully presented and tasted superb! We had a throughly enjoyable evening and would reccomend to all!
I am an avid fan of churchills, we have always had friendly service by the staff and the food is delicious. Only downside is peak time at lunchtime when you are ordering something takeaway, wait times vary between 10-20 minutes to reheat food takeaway. You can find yourself waiting in line for a while too. Otherwise great place. Would definitely recommend for those who are going for brunch, late lunch or dinner :) The atmosphere is fab and the food choice is brill. I will continue to drop into Churchills provided it's not 12pm and there are parks out front. Keep it up!
I have stopped at Churchills for lunch on numerous occasions and am almost always very satisfied with my dining experience. Coffee generally very good, and the food is always nicely presented. Nice flavours and reasonably priced.
great food! i wish i took more photos but i ate too fast! 😜 excellent chai and the flat whites were really beautiful and strong! i actually added sugar which i never do in the united states! NZ does coffee very well!!
4.0 | Food is average, nothing that will wow you but also morning was bad. Coffee is great, one of the better espressos we had while visiting NZ. Service is rather friendly and efficient. Good stop for a morning coffee and a quick bite.
Enjoyed our food. Nice selection of dishes. Prices were reasonable for what we got. Coffee was nice. We would go again. I would recommend this place.
Nice big space and the food and service were great. I had a seafood chowder which was delish but i couldn't finish it all! Got to take home leftovers in a container though so that was good. Also had a lemon tart, that was also really good. I would definitely go back.
Awe little cafe, nice and clean, great staff and customer service. Good GF options and food super delish! Totally recommend for brunch or lunch or even just a coffee and cake... especially the cheesecake!
Under new management, Churchills is flourishing! Great coffee, lovely ambience, superb service and just a really nice place to share a meal with someone. Highly recommended.
Second time here and we are happy to come again. Carrot cake is perfect, tasty. Also salad and pie was really good. Staff is nice and friendly. All the best for this team and their business.
