Coffee was nice, best ham and cheese toasties in a while, liked getting to choose bread type and fillings. Toasties were crispy on the outside and had plenty of cheese. Fries were rustic and crispy. Good portions. Friendly service. Nice outdoor area. Would recommend as a rest stop on a drive. Clean bathroom.
Love this place. Lots to look at on the walls for sale. Nice GF options. Not a big variety but all you need. Coffee was good.
Lovely cafe & gift shop.
Hubby loved his burger, would go again.
Nice coffee
The place looks a little run down from the outside. We were a little worried when we stopped here but the food was absolutely amazing! Definitely worth stopping in!
Lovely, quirky little cafe. The food was great and came out quite fast. Prices are pretty standard and the serving sizes were good. The only not so good things were that the entry into the cafe is quite awkward as the serving area, the barista area and access to the toilets are all at an intersection with the entrance and everyone was tripping over each other trying to get through and there isn’t much room for people trying to look at the menu and order. Also, the girl serving was a bit snarky - everyone else was lovely though.
Ordered French toast what we received was above and beyond delicious 😋 a must visit if passing through

Looked a bit small and underwhelming from the street, but wanted to try based on good food reviews from others. Upon walking in I knew I'd made the right choice. It's laid out quite quirkily, but feels cosy, and there's actually HEAPS of seating, the place is surprisingly big. The cabinet food looked homemade, with love, and I thought the prices were really reasonable. Good gluten free options, if that's your thing. I got a huge frittata packed with yummy cashews, big bowl of bacon/broccoli salad and a coffee for under $25. All damn delicious. Friendly and chilled staff. The kind of nice relaxed cafe where you can come to eat and not be bothered! Would love to go back and try more as the chef definitely knows what they're doing! Bit of a hidden gem, really.
The food and coffee are good however the BLT is quite small for its price. The cafe has a nice outdoor seating and a art gallery in the front to enjoy while having the meal.
Lovely morning tea in eclectic setting. Coffees and hot choc were excellent. Savoury muffin very tasty and enough for 3. Worth a stop when in Tirau.
Mandatory stop on the way to Rotorua. This is a cozy cafe with a store at the front, serving awesome drinks and tasty scones. There are heaps of tables in the back, coaches and stuff on sale. Newspaper of the day for well informed customers. Great experience, will come by again soon.
