Great food nachos are to die for well playing an game on the pool table. Very friendly bar highly recommended to all. Love this place. It’s made better buy the very nice lady behind the counter who has an smile to reel you back for another drink thanks again for an great place to drink and hang out with my mates
Not a bad place for pub food. No expectations, it is pub food, but they have a nice comfortable, clean dining area and the staff are friendly and the service was great! A plus is definitely the Guinness on tap!
Great friendly service, had the fish burger which was amazing, will have to try something different next time! Meal was a great size, fries were also good
Always come here when I dont want to wait to long for a steak, the stone grill is awesome and the nachos are one of the best, quick service.

The food was cooked perfectly for all meals that were ordered.
I had the venison on the hot stone. I loved it. However, 200g of venison is not enough, I did expect more, and the chips was a lacking on the numbers.
But over all it was good.
We asked our German student where to take our Japanese student for her last Saturday night dinner out and she said that she had to try the stone grill - it was great and the girls and us really enjoyed it. We told her that Upper Hutt has it all and when they go back home they will remember how great it was -thanks very much
We went for lunch on Monday, relaxed atmosphere with plenty of seating options. Our waitress was welcoming and quick to bring water, menus and take drink orders. We ordered a garlic bread starter which was lovely a thin crunchy outer and a lovely soft inside not to buttery. I had the fish and chips with salad very nice, especially the salad it had a punchy dressing. My lunch date had the venison which he cooked to his liking on the stone grill. A meal thoroughly enjoyed. Good value for money.
We had another great meal here. The beef and Guinness pie is a must! It is consistently good and probably the 8th time I've had it! The fish and chips Hubby had this time, was again of the same high standard. The portion sizes are large. and Tuesdays they offer a free desert! Bonus!
Well, well, well, what a surprise. After refusing to go to this establishment a few years ago because of a terrible experience, my partner and I forced our self's to pop in for a quick bite Saturday afternoon.
Beef burger and chicken burger was the order, on a mid Saturday afternoon, with the kitchen staff cleaning the kitchen. Boy oh boy were we surprised by the quality of the food, and i must add the quantity of the food, i was great to find a restaurant that gives a proper load of chips with a burger. Buns were fresh, patties were fresh, dressing was lovely, chef clearly loves his job. Partner mentioned it was the best chicken burger she has had in a very very long time.
7's bar, you have redeemed yourself, we WILL be back, and i hope the experience can be repeated.

I think we've found our favourite meat restaurant! Despite the used furniture, the atmosphere is familial and suit perfectly with Sundays vibes 🙂. The prices are fair. When we enter the place, the barman stops his duty to welcome us which is unusual and pleasant
One of our go to places. Go here a lot at all different times brunch, lunch and dinner and can not fault it. Amazing food, drinks and good prices. Have suggested and brought work, friends and family here. Never any complaints. Have tried a lot of the different food options and all of it is super yum. Super friendly staff. Highly recommend 💜

Absolutely loved everything about this place,we went to celebrate a birthday and it was the best environment for all, kids had fun things to do, and all they can eat dessert. Myself I totally enjoyed my meal and because I was in control of cooking it was the icing on the cake. If you're looking for a family friendly place look no further, thanks to all the staff who served us on the 7th of April 🥰 you were amazing and chef's are top notch ❤️😊
We haven’t been to the 7’s Bar for a meal I a few years as we weren’t impressed with our last few visits. However, tonight I said to my sweetheart shall we give the 7’s another chance.
OMG. Our meals were so bloody good I could have had mine again.
Sina had Lamb shank that fell off the bone and I had Twice cooked pork belly which just melted in my mouth and our vegetables were cooked to perfection.
I can’t wait to come back.

Went to try the steak an Guinness pie, reminded me of my late grandma cooking, nice one, might have to book the end of year staff party here. Wow! Bartenders know there drinks! New range.
Staff were super friendly and approachable even chatting with my 6yr old son.
I scoffed my whole meal which is unusual.
Also kids meal good price. 5 nuggets and chips a soft drink and a make ya own icecream all for under $15
Went here couple weeks ago with some girlfriends had a lovely time staff was chill and friendly, new menu took us by surprise in the best way these new pizzas were great and me being a sweet tooth I tried their new trifle was delicious couldn’t get enough
14.99 kids menu, good value. When U spending double that elsewhere, great for family meals, alot of free parking so easy to get there, they were pretty quick. Too
