Lovely little hidden gem on lambton quay, was hungry for a little snack and very happy to have found this place. I just got the soonish and cheese muffin. Which was lovely! They seem to have a little bit of everything from bakery foods to breakfast ordered foods, Indian foods like curries. The staff are really friendly and the food is decently price too
I haven’t had anything other than their Laksa but it is just so so yummy! Very tasty and generous serving for the price. The staff are lovely. It’s a wee hidden gem on Lambton.
Quick bites when in wellington cbd, super duper friendly staff with always smiling faces. Have both vegetarian and non vegetarian options. I love the mac and cheese here!

Decent for a feed and on the wallet! They have a great can do attitude and are more than willing to make up a sandwich for you if they've just run out of your cabinet favorite. Had the bacon and eggs on sourdough not bad for $12!
Relish is a great little place for a quick bite to eat. It is a simple little place with some prepared ready to eat Asian options. I had the red curry which was a good medium spicy flavour and was equal to any red curry that you get at a Thai restaurant.
Outstanding. Friendly service, great selection of food and has a good selection for allergies (I have an egg allergy and gluten intolerance). Had the beef salad and the noodle salad and both were really yum! They even warmed the noodle salad for me. Good spot to sit too as its a little secluded which is a nice break from the hustle and bustle of wellingtons golden mile. Will be back. A+

Relish is a little hole-in-the-wall cafe that you wouldn't necessarily spot from the main streets of Lambton Quay. If you do swing by that way though, I'd recommend giving it a go.
I ordered a prawn laksa, which has really been a long time coming because I smell it cooking almost every day when I walk past. I got it as a takeaway and it looked smaller than what it would be if I'd dined in, but that's not a major complaint.
I was really pleasantly surprised when I opened it. The red-orange broth was glistening, and it had a generous amount of vegetables (onions, carrots, etc) and juicy succulent prawns. They were really generous with the prawns, and I was really satisfied after my meal. Great level of spice as well--it has the right amount of kick without making my eyes water.
They also have sandwiches made to order. I've tried these a couple of times and every time, my sandwiches have turned out perfectly grilled, cheesy, and chock full of ingredients. Really reasonable prices starting from $5.50 too.
Showstopper: Definitely the range of food available and the made-to-order sandwiches. Really suitable for people working around that area.

Great place to get a jam packed sandwich or a mix of salads. My quick 'go to' lunch place. Favourite is a the egg salad and the bread his always fresh. Fast friendly service.
Absolutely perfect poached eggs!! Served on perfectly toasted sourdough bread. Very good flat white and super fast service. And significantly cheaper that other close locations. This is the go to place for value.
Love the team here! I often order catering from Relish and Aroha is an absolute dream to deal with - she always makes everything so, so easy! The Kai is always delicious and made with love. Couldn't recommend them enough!

Just had breakfast here this morning. Good food, service and price - pit about no hash browns!
The service was great - as soon as we entered the area, the staff (and presumably the manager) gave us a very warm welcome. The prices looked reasonable for a breakfast cafe. My wife and I both ordered scrambled eggs on toast. The food came fairly promptly. The bread was absolutely perfect. The cheap cafes do cheap toast, the fancy ones do ciabatta that is sometimes very very tough/hard/crunchy, but the bread here was absolutely perfect.
The bacon was not streaky, it was shoulder/middle bacon. I liked that it was not over cooked and became tough like leather. It as still juicy.
To our surprise they did not do hash browns! Which is a real shame.
Coffee was good. The banana/blueberry smoothie was ok, but tasted quite watery. At least we know it wasn’t drowned in sugar! Not sure if I would buy it next time.
Overall it was nice, nothing fancy, but they served us well and the main scrambled eggs on toast was great too.
Nice affordable options. Good & quick service. Can get a bit crowded when ordering at counter, & limited seating that fills up fast during lunchtime rush. Also do catering.
Tough for me to only give 4 stars. This place makes the BEST sandwiches in Wellington, and is an absolute fav of mine for lunch.
Unfortunately today we ordered the eggs benedict. They forgot my order completely (but apologized and gave us all free cake).
When the bene arrived the hollandaise was cold (from the fridge) and the eggs were overcooked.
Still 4 stars as I know the rest of what they do is awesome, and even though they made a mistake they made up for it with their excellent service.

The best cafe in Town. If u want to try the best laksa then u gotta be at this place. i bet no one can beat the taste. This place is very tidy and on perfect location. They have professional staff & always welcome customers with smile. I always recieve best customer service. One of the girl their is amazing, i dont know her name but she recommended me laksa and since then i am big fan of this place. I highly recommend this place.
We used Relish for the first time, for an employee farewell at at our office yesterday.
Everyone was very impressed! So many positive comments. Presentation was beautiful, all the food was really delicious and the small tubs of condiments were a nice addition. The food was delivered on time and hot. It was hard to chose from the menu, with so many appealing options, but we were very happy with our selection.
Thank you very much and we will most certainly be in touch for our next function.
Perfect eggs Benedict and the best latte I have had in a very long time. Fast, Friendly service. All at a great price. This will be my cafe of choice.
