Back in business and better than ever. Our family had the best food from Where's Charlie today. Pick up was simple, clean and perfectly timed. We had the best Pho, Bahn Mi, noodles, salads, spring rolls, Bao buns, rice paper rolls and more. We were so happy with the delicious flavours, great quality and cheap prices. It's such a tough time for businesses - support them today.
We ordered fresh rolls and spring rolls with pork, chicken and beef pho. Was a bit salty for me but tasted nice overall. The vietnamese coffee was a big let down since they didnt make it the way it supposed to be.
This place was recommended by a friend and it is hidden in the capital market. For Vietnamese food I always go for pho, it’s classic and if the pho is good then you know they have done it right.
The pho they have rare beef, spicy rare beef and marinated rare beef to choose from. The lovely woman told me they sold out of the spicy beef so I went for the marinated beef instead.
Honestly it might not look appealing but the soup and the beef taste amazing. It has to be one of the top 3 pho I tried in Welly so far.
Give it a go you will love it.
My first time coming here loved the food nice atmosphere staff are very welcoming and are willing to help out with any questions you have. Had the pork spring rolls they are really yummy and had the Pho beaf. would recommend coming here. I will definitely be coming back.
This is probably the best place to go to for a Pho!
Where’s Charlie is probably one of the best Vietnamese Restaurants in Wellington!
I totally recommend their Chicken Pho and lemon grass and chilli chicken noodles!
Check out my Ig for more info 😁
If there is better value, tastier Vietnamese good in NZ, please let me know. Simple, fresh flavours and all served up under the watchful owners eye. Really hard to fault.
I love the lemon grass chicken with chilli mayo Bahn Mi - it’s great value at $9 for a jumbo one. Def try this pl if you are visiting capital markets.
I always get the signature pho (beef) and it is amazing every time. The lady there is incredibly nice- 10/10 and would definitely recommend to everyone
this place is definitely good value for money and it taste great. the fried spring rolls are fantastic along with pork chop on rice. However i do find the pho a bit salty for my liking. this is one of my quick, cheap eating place.
Went out to find some cheap food randomly and stopped by Capital Market- the food course. This little Vietnamese joint grabbed my attention for some reason so I decided to give it a try. Again, I order the Pho with some fried spring rolls. The food was surprisedly delicious with all the needed complexity of favours in the soap yet maintaining a clean and crispy taste thanks to fresh herbs. Will remember this place for sure.
Bhan Mi and Pho were excellent, $21 for 2 people is not too shabby, shame they didn’t do Vietnamese coffee. Only downside is the only seating is in an area filled with birds trying to eat your food. Good value for flavour ratio and worth checking out if in the area and fancy some Vietnamese food.
Yummy Pho. The facilities need cleaning and updating.
Great Vietnamese vermicelli and spring rolls. Located in the capital market. They have another branch on lambton quay. Hippie Vietnamese fashion.
Pho is good, make sure you get the extra sauces!
One of the tastiest Banh Mi I've ever had. I've already gone back for a second.
Summer rolls to die for 🤤🤤🤤 the rest of their menu is good & average
Love the salad, a big bowl for $9 oh yum!
Lemon grass chicken on rice probs one of the most killer dishes around town
Fast, friendly and delicious
