Have eaten here twice in the last two months. First time had the fish burger and some chips.

These guys don’t hold back on the burgers. The bun is a nice seeded bun, I think brioche but might be wrong ( review written retrospectively ). Fish was fresh and chips were really good as well. Nothing oily about it. Friendly staff.

Would go back :)

Recently moved into the area and decided to try the local fish n chip shop tonight and could not fault it ! Everything was cooked golden and crispy definitely our new fave fish n chip shop.

Great crunchy chips that equal any up north and yummy burgers that make a strong statement about value. Highly recommended the $6.50 cheese burger as a hunger fix, they are big burgers with a nice home made patty.

We had fish n chips from here last night, quite good prices and generous servings. I liked the way it was accompanied with a lemon wedge for the fish and also they poked three holes in the paper to make sure the chips didn't sweat and go soggy. Would definitely go again, wish I'd read the other reviews about the burgers, might have to try them next time! :-)

Best burgers (fish and chip shop) in Wellington hands down. I miss living up the road from this marvel. Cheese and Egg burger always a family favourite. Not so hot on the fish and chips but burgers are absolutely worth it

Mean as value err1. Burgers are a particular highlight. Better than your average shark n spuds by a long shot. Regulars when my mates lived in hataitai at 4.20 on a Sunday.

This shop is my mains. Sure, it's a little bit out of the city but it's worth it. The prices are reasonable and so are the sizes of the burgers/chips. The size of the potato fritter portions are good - you usually get a few per serve. Wait times are ok and staff are friendly. The fish portion is also good. Most the other things, doughnuts and crab-sticks etc are pretty standard.

We ordered the bacon and egg burgers and added cheese with a side order of chips. Everything was outstanding. The burgers had plenty of filling with fresh ingredients and the chips crispy. One of the best burgers I have had in a long time. Would highly recommend.

This place does great chips and has a great selection of quality menu items. Their genuine paua fritters are great as is the potato fritters. Can't say I have ever had anything bad from here in all the years I have been going here.
