We honestly had a great time at T-lounge by Dilmah. We went for premium high tea. The food was to die for!! I am not a huge Iced Tea person but wow the intro tea was so good! Staff was so friendly and the person who served us explained what each item was and it was super helpful. Overall 100/10. Will definitely return! Very happy for our first time visiting Wellington.

Absolutely loved their menu, food was delicious and cannot explain how yummy the nitro tea was, my partner would have easily had 10 of them if that was bottomless haha. Staff was so friendly and the person who served us explained each and everything in detail which I thought was very good for us. Overall 10/10. Will definitely visit when I fly to Wellington again. As always, having a meal at the Dilmah t Lounge in Wellington, NZ was an enjoyable culinary experience! We had lunch on Thursday 27 July. My friend & I are both gluten- free & dairy-free & had great meals, infused with tea! We chose spiced chicken & spiced lamb wrapped in crepes...from the t Lounge Classics menu. I now have my favourite teas to choose from too!
I have recommended twenty-three people to this amazing restaurant! Being originally from Sri Lanka, this is the only place in Wellington that showcases the food of that country with the subtle flavours coming through, without being overridden by chillie. Lastly, thank you to the manager & staff...who are amazing!

We had high tea for two as a birthday treat. Much better than your standard twee cucumber sandwiches, a selection of delicious flavourful food and the staff were very knowledgeable about different tea blends. You can even buy a tin of your favourite tea to take home.
Warm and colourful atmosphere comfortable to to chat for a couple of hours while you eat
Standard high tea was a filling lunch worth of food. Staff were attentive but not intrusive and the bottomless tea just kept coming.
Only downsides of the venue was some chairs at the table were much lower than others, and there’s no toilet in the cafe you have to leave and go across the foyer to a cold bathroom shared with other shops that smelt of cigarette smoke.
Will definitely go back to try the lunch menu
We had a family lunch-time 60th celebration, for 10 adults + baby. The peaceful atmosphere allowed easy conversation, the service was friendly and informative, the menu and beverages were an interesting stimulus (incl. WOAP burger), and the was food enjoyable, and reasonably priced.

Absolutely lovely staff and great service.
I loved the cold teas and the t-kitch, which I had never tried before.
The food was yummy and beautifully presented - we had the high tea - and it was such a great experience.
Also, as someone with physical disabilities, the furniture in this establishment was incredibly comfortable and easy to access - wheeled armchairs or well padded booth seats being the seating options.
Thank you again to all the staff who made it such a special experience.

Our monthly dining Meetup group took us to dilmah t-lounge, actually I'm pretty impressed! I think this is a good replacement after Grace patisserie closed down. The food is of course not as delicate as Grace but I really liked the ambiance, all the items served had a bit of a Sri Lankan/Indian spices twist to them. Apart from that round disc thing at the bottom (sorry missed the name) that was very dry , the rest were nicely done. Particularly loved the teas, and that we got a complimentary lime and apple green ice tea to start, then bottomless teas to choose from plus another t-kitsch (which is basically teh tarik, pulled tea) with condensed milk (OMG) we were definitely feeling full. Special mention to the fact that there were 2 tiers of savoury dishes and one tier sweet, which was a much better balance and should be the rule of thumb for all high teas!
On top of that we had great service and the price was good!
