We are on holiday from Australia and the coffee from PR's is absolutely amazing .. best we have had in NZ. As for the food.. fantastic, yummy and so tasty! We will visit every day we are here!

Lovely food. Good portions. Smoked salmon, which I typically adore, was a tad salty for my tastes. Still would revisit regularly if I lived here. Worth a stop.
A reliable haunt for those looking for a good, hearty meal to kick start the day off with. Staff, service, basic hospitality skills all well pretty up there Coffee is pretty awesome as well. I tend to bring my out of town visitors here at least once in their stay.

Not knowing the area and travelling through we picked PR's as it was the busiest spot, and we found out why. A great selection of food ranging from fresh sandwiches and options from the cabinet that you could takeaway, to dine in breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals, all at reasonable prices. All the staff were super friendly, prompt and efficient but giving each customer the time of day. It appeared they know their locals well and by name which was lovely to see.
Such warm and friendly owners and staff, very generous and helpful, soothing coffee and a tongue tantalizing dish of French toast and hot fruit served with cream, that was delicious, big serving, reasonably priced, served with a smile highly recommended xx

I particularly love this place's baking. Their coffee is good but so are other places around town. What sets them apart for me is their baking. Their carrot cake looks luxurious and appetising and their slices looks and taste like quality. I don't know who does their baking but I am never disappointed. Regarding baking Pr's stands out in this class for Westport on the days I have visited.
