Excellent lunch, catered Gluten free, service was great, friendly
Such a cosey vibe here got the little gas fire going and the staff are friendly ☺️ would probably recommend booking if you have more than two of you, we arrived shortly before lunchtime and most tables were already reserved. Overall I give it around 6/10
When you think tavern, this is what I pictured. Nothing fancy, good staff and awesome food.
Burger was hearty, pizzas were loaded with toppings, staff friendly.
Will come back in the summer, great views.
We had a joint Birthday here, 6 and 34, the staff were amazing, the food was fantastic as usual and of course the views and play ground were well used. Even the tables around us helped sing Happy Birthday. Thanks again to the team for accommodating GF/dairy free options
Food was amazing. View was fantastic. Staffs were accomodating. Worth the money.

Consistently good food, fast and friendly service, reasonable prices and lots of options for kids, vegetarians, adults, etc. Amazing setting looking out over Whangarei harbour, indoor and outdoor seating and a pirate ship for the kids to play on! Love this place and continue to go back, highly recommend going here!

Such an incredible location and great food. The staff are very hands-off for weekday lunch which I quite like but others might not. The decor is a bit dated though.
Great service! Quick, friendly and top class food. I got the salt and pepper squid, one of the best I’ve had ever. Nice chilled cider on tap, so all the ticks for me.
Breath taking views matched with a really relaxed atmosphere and spacious garden. Highlights apart from the obvious for me was being dog friendly and having staff that wanted to say hello to him and give him rubs haha. Can’t wait to go back.
Just a really neat place, great tavern, great food and people. Looking forward to summer and bringing the family
Food is good, stuff were nice, but better not to go by yourself, because they expect you to grab cutlery and napkins by yourself, which I couldn’t since the seagulls stared at my food all the time.
I ended up acting like I was an angry customer by yelling excuse me to a waiter who was far from me so I can get cutlery and eat like a proper human. And glad I always have some napkins in my hand bag.
