We came to no8 to celebrate our anniversary and we are so glad that we did! The food was impeccable the pork belly and tuna were highlights. Service from Sam and Sam was brilliant and they made our night out a real event. Thanks so much and will definitely return.

We got the flamed tuna sushi, 5 spice duck spring rolls, pork belly baos and the fried prawns. We really enjoyed the prawns and pork belly baos the best, they were perfection š
The staff were really friendly but the service was a bit slow for my liking and I had to wave them down both times to order food and drinks.
My partner and I can here for date night and it was lovely. The atmosphere was amazing, very warm for such a chilly night. We had the Karaage Chicken which was delicious had a kick to it but still yum. Our waiter was a young man who was very lovely and attentive, if we had cash we would have tipped him. Would definitely recommend this place to couples for date night. The mocktails are DELICIOUS!!

High standard of delicious tasting food, definitely quality over quantity. I like how they always mix up the menu and every time we go there itās a different experience with some of the staple favourites. Iām not a fan of kale but couldnāt believe how tasty their kale slaw is. The staff are always prompt, friendly and attentive and you can tell the genuinely care about the diners experience.
One of my favourite restaurants in whangarei for dinner or even just to sit upstairs with a nice Vietnamese style espresso martini and enjoy the view.

Had an excellent time at 8 tonight- came in at 8:15 (15 mins before the kitchen closes) and we were still served by the kind staff. High quality food (tandoori chicken karaage, tofu salad, eggplant, and pork belly were awesome!) Decor and ambience were really good too - will come back when in whangarei again
