We had Sunday lunch, and we were surprised to be able to find a seat as this is a very popular eatery. Right on the main drag between the Regent and the top of Bank St. Parking is on street. Great menu and well presented food. Portions are a good size. Pleasant team. Fair prices. Nice environment.
The meal I had was yellow curry prawns, and it was great, but hopefully, more prawns in it next time. Pad Tai was great, according to family. Chicken fried rice is also recommended by family. Lovely staff always
Great cosy little restaurant! Had dinner here the other night and it was beautiful, presentation and taste 10/10. Will definitely be back for more! Friendly staff and the prices are cheap compared to other Thai restaurants.
I have ordered duck stir-fry it was very delicious, except it was a bit salty for me. Otherwise it is beautiful and lovely service and foodš
Delicious food, lovely service, green curry with snapper on point. Portion size fantastic. Canāt wait to try other things on the menu, Iāll definitely be back.
Whangarei has great Thai restaurants, but the Whang Thai is as good if not better than the competition. It is an intimate restaurant with attentive staff. The food tastes fresh and full of flavour, and a good choice of dishes. We decided to try a selection of entrees instead of having a main, and the dishes were perfect, could not be improved. Love that they serve coconut rice as well. We will be back.
Wow! Friendly, fast service, delicious food! Larb Gai is our usual order, but we saw the Larb Snapper & had to try it. It was amazing! Add some spicy fried rice, a cup of Tom Yum soup, some wine = fabulous dinner!!
Amazing flavoursome food. Excellent efficient staff. Reasonable prices. A real pleasure to be there.
Very delicious . Ambiance is lovely and such beautiful service. Great experience
