Hands down the best restaurant in Hawkes Bay. Sam’s food is exceptional everytime. If you’re looking for that absolute top class dining, look no further. Compared to places like Craggy and Black Barn, this place is next level and a much better price.

We went for the Christmas Menu, which was delicious. The highlights were the salmon tartare and the chocolate tart, yet the most surprising dish was the beetroot sorbet with gin. The service was attentive and very good!

The food was great also, well presented and we found you did not leave feeling over full. We would highly recommend this restaurant to others. Will definitely go back again. This is a must visit when you are in Napier. The staff are friendly and very attentive. Great atmosphere and drinks and the food is absolutely beautiful. The best food hands done we have had while being in Napier.

This restaurant is not only absolutely excellent, the quality of both the ambience and the food is consistently superb. We have had the fortunate opportunity to eat here both in Napier and their previous location over a number of years and the experience is fantastic. Not just the thoughtful wine pairings that go with the absolutely delicious food courses but the service is joy to experience. Having said all of that - it is the food, beautifully crafted by the superb chef that is the main experience to go for again and again.
