Since my friend recommended their Chicken rice is the best in Auckland. I would say 7/10. Rice is good, but not the taste as in Singapore or Malaysia. Homemade chillies sauce is excellent 10/10! Chilli is one of the major element that made nice chicken rice. Nice bean spout on the side! Chicken is okay, not as smooth and juicy as I expected. Very pricy $18 for the dish.
I have been to this one and the one in Sylvia. Atmosphere is bright and clean which might be reflected in the higher pricing of the meals. Good portion sizes. Stand out is always the crispy chicken skin but the nasi lemak with chicken curry has been consistently good.
Went here for my birthday. I really liked the steamed chicken, it was very nice and good portion as well.π
The Curry Laksa is very good, definitely recommend if coming here to dine. The rice dishes can be a little high in price but it taste good, with great seasoned chicken. Would come back again
I got the good old classic πΊππππππ

Good serving, nice tasting food π
Rating 3.5 Fairly standard franchise of the Papparich chain, the good thing about this is that you know you can always find your favourite dish there. Mine is the fish head noodle soup. Pretty consistent with ones I had in the Australian outlets. Plenty of fried fish pieces, and the fishes were well fried, not soggy nor tough meat. Very satisfying.
Dined here countless times and honestly it is consistent. If you want a good laksa, come to papparich. If you want a solid rendang, come to paparich. Are there better places for each dish? Yes, but you just can't beat consistent flavour and service and so for that, kudos.
PappaRich in Sylvia park was definitely better in taste than the one in the city!
I apologise for writing a very late review for this amazing restaurant. I have already been here more than 20 times and this shows how much I really love Paparichβs Menu. The food is flavoursome and good value for money π°! The service is quick and the staff are efficient. My go to order is of course their exquisite Seafood Laksa.
Food was yummy and authentic. Always a great atmosphere for diners with a resemblance of Malaysia. However we've picked a really busy time for our visit and the mains weren't served at the same time where the second main was served about 10 mins after the first main arrived. Also the char kuay teow wasn't spicy as requested. All in all good food and we will be back again :-)
Our favorite Malaysian eatery! Food serving was large and authentic! Best curry noodle with heaps of fried fish fillet.
Lovely service. Ordering is a breeze with a push button to call the wait staff.
Huge menu.
Great prices and good size servings.
Staff are very efficient.
Tastes for all palates.
On Level 2 in the "old planet Hollywood building" .
Each meal below was well received.
Good quality food and good servings. The way they take orders is a little odd but not an issue. Gets pretty full on weekends being in such a central location. Had no issues with any service or food, was all pretty tasty.
The laksa is okay, the soup didn't have much flavor except coconut and wasn't as spicy as expected which allowed all the other flavors to be heard. The roti was good by itself and had some unusual sauces with it which was okay. The Hainan chicken on rice was excellent. Had a good aromatic flavor and was pleasant
We stopped by for dinner and they only had the express menu, which had very limited vegetarian options. You order by writing down the menu items on the order slip and then hand it to the server once you're ready. There is a button on each table to call the servers when you need them. I ended up going with the roti canai. The roti was really nicely cooked and the sambal that came with it was quite tasty, along with the dhal. We also had the kaya toast and mantou for dessert and they were both quite tasty. I really enjoy their kaya since it has such a nice pandan flavour to it.
Nice place to experience some good Malaysian food, but service was quite awful as there were only three waiters for almost 30 tables but they compensate it by providing us free ice cream for coming on Valentines Day β€οΈ
Food came out super fast and was of good quality. Food portions are good and it's great value for money. Tried the N11 Dry Curried Egg Noodles and had a PD02 Mango Mania. Both fast great and met my expectations. They also have an interesting ordering system, you write the numbers of the dish you want on an ordering slip proved at the table. And when ready, you press the button on the table to bring over the waiter. No communication with the waiters are necessary. Interesting system, which speeds things up nicely.
Well managed and clean restaurant. The food is fast and well prepared. The dishes are big enough even for big guys. The only think I don't like there is no knifes in the boxes with cutlery so I had to call the waitress and ask for some. Prices are more than suitable for this kind of restaurants.
Papparich in Aotea Square us the perfect stop by for a quick bite to eat of delicious spicy Malaysian cuisine. The staff is very nice and engaging and the service is prompt and efficient.
I adore the chicken curry with roti canai and their fresh juices however everything is fantastic, Iβm never disappointed. Highly recommended!
