Nice friendly atmosphere, and the staff even friendlier. The food was very nice and very filling. I would highly recommend the Republic to all my family and friends.
Been to this place few times, good for large group especially outdoor seating area. Friendly staff. Really enjoyed the food
We went and tried this place for their reasonable priced platter. We were blown away! Everything on the platter was so good and super filling. We were stuffed after eating & still had leftovers to take home. Would recommend to anyone!
I specifically loved the calamari, chicken tenders & their fries were also unbelievably good!
Let's start off with the staff. . . Right from our entrance, we were greeted with a warm welcome. The seating was well spaced.
The waiter was awesome in getting orders taken, making sure we knew what was in our food. The wait time for our food was really fast and absolutely delish!
Will definitely be returning
I had the stake meal from here a bit pricey but it was yum also my work colleagues had the burger and chips and other food.. was ok and the place was suitable for us catchup over food and drinks
Dined here for quite a number of times. Always ordered their crispy chicken burger and Republic tower burger.
I am particularly obsessed with their crispy chicken burger. The burger was crunchy on the outside and soft inside. The fried chicken was crispy on the skin, juicy and tender inside, the striky bacon was very crispy too thus enhancing the texture of the whole burger. The accompanying corn fritters were super delicious, going awesomely well with the melted mozzarella, sliced tomatoes, avocado and lettuce. The chilli aioli acted as a booster in enriching the flavour of all the ingredients stuffed in the burger. A must try when you patronise this restaurant!
Will certainly be back again for the crispy chicken burger.

Only issue is they ran out of a few drinks like ginger beer

Food here was amazing. Portion size are very generous. The calamari is so good! Best chicken salad I have ever had. Garlic bread was so tasty and buttery. We also ordered the lamb with risotto and carbonara. Cheap cocktails on their VIP Thursdays which was a total bonus. Everyone was beyond satisfied.
Went for a friends birthday dinner i ordered calamari with salad an i absolutly LOVE it light an crispy lots of flavour i cant get enough my go to dish. Desset was average but vert enjoyable even better when you catch there happy hour cocktails delish an cheap
Amazing service, food came out fast and fresh. Ordered crispy chicken burger and chicken fettuccine. The burger was big enough to feed 2 people and the filling was delicious. Chicken fettuccine had the right ratio of sauce, chicken and bacon.
Reasonably priced and decent size meals.
Would definitely come back to eat here.
Went To manukau for a movie and saw this bar. Nice open bar with comfortable seating arrangements.
Had beer and curly fries and it was yummy. Staffs are pretty friendly and had a great time over dr.

Had a small birthday dinner here in downstairs private section. Busy spot however still a nice ambient feel inside 😊 Good, kind and attentive customer service - staff done really well under pressure as it was a busy Thursday night. Food was good + portion size & price. Surf & turf in particular was yummy and mussels. The steak chips were bomb!!! Photos don't show how amazing they are.. Ribs probably won't order again. 👌 keen to go back and try other things on menu
Great atmosphere! The food is always on point especially their Pizzas. They make the best cocktails. Excellent service from the staff. They ways come clear the tables when they see we are done with our meals. There are lots of seating options indoor for a nice quite dinning and outdoor with music playing or just watching a sports game. Weekends tend to get very busy. Great location and plenty of parking as it is right next to the Manukau Westfield Mall.
A salute my love this place! Especially coming here for a nice lunch or evening dinner. Prices in my opinion are slightly high but I’ll have to admit, it’s really worth it. Portion sizes are perfect as well. If I had to recommend one meal, it would have to be the crispy chicken burger! Close runner-up would be any of the pizzas they have too
I don’t know how was under the old management, but this new management is making this place looks amazing. We had dinner last Saturday because we purchased the offer from GrabOne. We ordered a large shared plate and pizza. It came quickly and was superb! Staff is friendly and always ready to assist us. It looks great inside, beer was in perfect temperature and kids enjoyed a lot too. Worth a visit!
The staff here are always attentive when we go there ready with a menu..This is the place we like to go spoil ourselves. The food is real good..And the jug of beer is even great.. There's a waitress there that always serves us when we go in she is an absolute angel i love and enjoy her hospitality. And the new manager I assume who's always ready to greet people make them feel comfortable at the same time doing everything else to ensure things are running smoothly. I highly recommend this place no doubt!

Usually love the vibe here.
Good drinks, food and atmosphere.
However, recently stopped in for a few drinks after a long day Xmas shopping. To be specific, on Saturday 10 Dec 2022 around 4pm. So you can pin point who this duty manager is.
On this day, I was served by the lovely female bartenders. The Asian bartender, made the best cocktails. Honestly, the best👌🏽
So I return to get the same cocktail, but she was busy, so the duty manager made the cocktail I asked for.
He made it completely different. And added Lemonade to "water down" if you will, the cocktail.
Lemonade is not an ingredient in the cocktail. I asked him why does this taste different to the cocktail I just had?
He said, what's wrong with it?
I said it has Lemonade in it.
At this point, he throws a big tantrum, and gathers all the bartenders and growls all of them for not adding Lemonade in my cocktail, in front of me. How unprofessional!
I said it doesn't have Lemonade in the ingredients. He growls me, and says what do you want in it then?
I said, what it says on the menu.
He says and what juice? I said the one on the menu. Mango juice.
He says we don't have mango juice🥴
So he gives pineapple and cranberry.
I apologized to the girl because I didn't mean to get them in trouble and I honestly felt so bad for them.
You got caught trying to change the ingredients in my drink and tried to blame it on your staff. How bloody unprofessional. Take accountability. And then to scold your customer for asking for the drink they paid for? That's my money!!! I spent on that drink. You don't go changing the menu to suit your pockets!
Stopped by for dinner before a movie.
Didn't have to wait long after entering before I was able to get a table. The bar is on one side while the dining area is on the other.
After getting menus I ordered a starter and a main. The starter came out first and once that was finished I got the mains.
The calamari was nice and crispy but thought it was a bit too salty. The ribs were ok. The ribs tasted mostly of the sauce so the coleslaw and wedges that came with it made the meal more enjoyable to give different textures and flavours. Portions for both were decent.
I wasn't too rushed with the meal even though I had a movie to go to. The waitresses were friendly and made the meal more enjoyable.
Found a meal that accommodated all my dietary requirements. Great venue with outdoor seating. Generous on topping on pizza! Returned a side order and staff were very open to constructive feedback, they gave us a refund and investigated the inquiry! Very satisfied with service & food! 😊
It's big with 2 floors seating area with plenty of outside seating for evening. Enjoy beer here and they have huge burgers.
