Had organised a function at the Brewery Britomart for 28 people. The beer was great and helped to bridge the wait for the food which was well worth it. We had a set three course menu (4 options to choose for each course) and no matter what people ordered it all looked absolutely delicious. My three courses were superb - I couldn't have found a better place for food and drinks. The guys at the Brewery Britomart claim they are foodies and they totally live up to it. Carefully prepared fresh food without any convenience ingredients - I hope they will be able to keep up those high standards in the months to come. Highly recommended.

We went for breakfast after a 13-hour flight. The food was pretty good. Though, be warned, everything is artisanally infused by a slightly tiresome hipster aesthetic that fuses Mediterranean and French elements with ordinary breakfast fare. Instead of chips, they had fried zucchini slices; instead of a toasted bagel with lox and cream cheese, my grilled bagel came with cured salmon and a very sweet fromage blanc. It was delicious though. The restaurant's vibe was very relaxed and comfortable; it seems a young, trendy place. And we were old and tired and hungry. Our waiter was friendly but very busy, so there was a good deal of waiting, but it was never intolerable. Overall, it was a good experience and I recommend it for a night out with friends or as a college-kid brunch hangout, but this wasn't the place to go for comfort food. It was all just un peu pretentious. And we were old and tired and hungry.

Crowded when my group arrive (at 12:30 on Friday). Lovely waiter who helped seat us outside and then allowed us to move once tables inside were available. The pineapple dessert was definitely unusual and worth a try.

5 stars for the White Rabbit for having my favorite NZ wine - The organic blend "Toru" from Te Whare Ra. Perfect to share a bite, the salmon was divine. The ambiance and the decor is nice, the staff is great as well.
