Tried Lena Woodfire pizza tonight and 100% happy with what I ordered for Takeaway.
Great authentic tasting Woodfire pizza, really loved the simplicity of our Pizza and Pizza bread.

We went to Lena for pizzas and they were hands down the BEST pizzas I have ever tasted, the tandoori was out of this world as was the margarita and the veggie patch was Devine!!! The service was outstanding too! What more could a person want👌🏼

We went there on on Friday late afternoon when they were just preping the restaurant for dinner. Vaughn and staff were very welcoming and rearranged the tables quickly to accommodate us 4. And I must say that it was the best woodfried pizza I had ever eaten, dough was made fresh...they welcomed our kids so well...definitely visiting again 👍👌😊

Went to Lena's urban eatery for brunch. I had eggs Benedict which is probably the best I've had in a long time, really good hollandaise. Partner had scrambled eggs on toast with bacon. Scrambled eggs were the highlight of both dishes. Very competitive price point too. Super friendly service with a nice warm ambience. A great little eatery to hang out at. Will swing by to check out the wood fired pizza in the future.

Had the Tandoori and Spanish Guard wood fire pizza. The Tandoori was our favorite of the two, very flavorsome with shaved almond sprinkled on top which added depth to the pizza. The Spanish Guard is a chorizo, mozzarella and basil pizza which I found surprisingly quite plain. The pizza itself is quite thin and bready, not my favourite wood fired pizza, but tasty none the less. Could be more saucy to be more tasty in my opinion.
Small eatery on the corner with a cute decor. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. All food was cooked to perfection, loved the bubble and squeak but the highlight was the brownie (warmed in microwave) oh my gosh, the best brownie we have ever had, chocolate, chocolate and more chocolate. FYI - hash brown was a substitute with Fully Monty as no eggplant on that day. Friendly, attentive and humorous service - 9.30am, 22.09.18.
Added to my list of favorites, decent size home made pizza was such a treat to my taste buds, tandoori chicken with almonds must try, owners tribute to sandringham road "little India" status, speaking of owner aka chef, very amiable chap.
Delicious food and coffee here - we were impressed. Also welcoming and friendly to our kids. Recommended.
Great local bar! We had a couple of pizzas on a Sunday night here, the pizzas were amazing - especially the tandoori chicken. The pizzas went down well with a nice cold beer, and my partner was a fan of the espresso martinis. The wife of the owner was serving us while we were there. She made the night that much better! She was friendly, funny and made us feel very welcome. We will definitely be coming back again soon.
Went here for breakfast with the family and the food was amazing. Recently ordered a pizza by Uber Eats and it arrived super quick and it would have to be one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten in my life. This place is quickly becoming my favourite local cafe/bar in the Sandringham area. Great service and very family friendly. Highly recommend to all.
Amazing food and service. Been here 4 times so far and have been very impressed each time. The new sheltered outdoor area is a great addition. Warm and inviting with the pizza oven in the winter and in summer the front gets opened up for indoor-outdoor flow and well shaded outside.
The garlic bread (pizza) is very affordable and delicious. It is my default entree. Each kind of pizza has its unique place on the menu.
The Crème brûlée is very good, and this is coming from someone who is not a fan of desserts or overly sweet foods. It is a great size to share with a friend or for the dessert lover, have it all to yourself.
Definitely check it out.
Found a GrabOne promotion and headed there for brunch. They were friendly, and we loved the food -- bubble and squeak, and pancakes. It was our first time trying a bubble and squeak dish so there was no expectation. We ended up liking their version. As for the pancake, my wife ordered it. I'm not really a pancake person, but I was surprised with the taste. I love the syrup, perhaps I could have asked for more. Will definitely recommend them for brunch.
Fabulous Tapas bar in Sandringham. A real find - delicious flavours , pizza oven giving a warm and cosy ambience for winter. Going into summer - lovely outdoor seating area. Its easy to recommend this restaurant- will go again.
Rare to find a place like this in suburban Auckland. A cosy tapas and pizza place. Cuisine is simple with fabulous ingredients. Excellent service. Chorizo and mushrooms my favourite. Arguably the best pizza in town. Really recommend this spot!
First time visiting last night with family. LOVED IT!! Great atmosphere, lovely owners/staff and delicious food/drinks. Will be bringing our friends back for sure! Thanks for a great dinner! Cheers, Kate
