Loved this place big time.
Good price comparison to other buffet restaurants.
The staffs were polite and most importantly the food was exceptionally great.
Would love to re-visit !!
Yummy dinner with great company . Loved the dumplings and sweet and sour pork ! Dessert was interesting . And birthday boy ain't for free
Its an amazing place to eat with family... A good variety of meat and veges, but food is a bit too oily sometimes. There fries are probably one of my favourites and their sauces are alright... Overall Gengis is a really good restaurant👍🏽
Not a fancy place to eat but the food was better than expected and the staff are very friendly. Good place to go for a quick meal, not too expensive.
Gengis Kahn is my favourite place (along with Lonestar) for a casual, relaxed meal. The marinated lamb is delicious and in the buffet section I always get coleslaw, fries, and noodles or rice. To get a five star, they would have to start using free range meat.
Came here a few days ago for my brothers birthday, as soon as we walked in it was boiling hot the one fan that was on wasn't doing anything for anyone. The selection was nice but the already prepared hot food was cold, I didn't touch the salad. After ordering over priced drinks, a Long Island ice tea was $17, we started to make our bowels and we found a bug in the veges and the seafood was "off" they replaced the seafood but that was frozen not fresh, and they didnot replace the vegetables. There were no signs on the marinated meat, which lead me to grab spicy pork and I had to eat it as there were signs everywhere saying if you left food on your plate you will be charged $5. We left after only having 2 very small plates each and two of us only having a small scoop of ice cream.. Very disappointed as that meal cost $30 and we only stayed for an hour
Went for a birthday, service was good, food on the other hand was a bit of a problem, once the food was cooked and went to go eat it we put some baby corn in one of the meals and it tasted some what off and not fresh, the pre-made fried rise was a bit hard and dried out so it was a bit tough to eat, as for the drinks we had one mocktail, one L&P along with two Pineapple Juice, the juice tasted love me it had some alterative to milk and made it taste a bit weird.
As we have been here before it is still a good place to go to and would not mind visiting again.
Well the concept is very different from other BBQ restaurants, they give the chance to the customers to choose the stuffs to be made. Lot of options in meat, vegetables, sauces, herbs and sides. In the end, if you are aware of the food components, it is a must visit. Thumbs up :)
Good food taste , high quality ingredients, good price.
Not a romantic place or to go for any celebrations
Service is ok , the dessert quality could be better other than that one f the nice places to go.
Will go again
Plenty of different meat, veggies and sauce options. The beef and lamb was a bit stringy, really leftover meat quality. The chicken was better, and really liked the sweet potato in the syrup. Plenty of salad and veggie options also. The desserts were a bit underwhelming, brownies were not nice and neither were the pancakes. Overall though the buffet style is really good, a really filling and nice main meal overall.
Great food, great people and a great experience. The atmosphere is friendly and the food is exceptional along with the service. Will visit again!
■ Good for big groups
■ Good food
■ Short on dessert variety
This place used to be popular in my high school years and we would come here for end of season celebrations with our sports teams etc mainly coz they cater well for big groups and coz of their all you can eat buffet! But they've now made it 25?? Whaat... It used to be 20! Dont really come here anymore but I did have an end of year Christmas dinner for work last year and the food was just as good as I remembered. It was also my first time trying Pina Colada coz our manager got us a free bar tab :D BASICALLY they have a bucketload of variety and ingredients to create your own dishes so you fill up your plates with whatever veges, meat, seafood & sides ya want, next flavour it up with herbs, sauces, seasonings and all that good stuff and then you hand it over to the group of chefs cooking by the hot plate and VOILAA ! They cook it up for you before your eyes and add in some flames here and there for special effects :D Good for big groups n you pretty much gotta go with a really empty stomach + a huge appetite.
