Lovely little secluded restaurant in Flat Bush area with a relaxed ambience. All dishes were tasty, well-presented and there was a good menu selection. Help-yourself water & green tea. Friendly service. Reasonably priced - ordered 4 dishes with a side of edamame beans which cost $51 for 2 people.
A japanese restaurant in east auckland with very nice interior. This japanese restaurant is owned by chinese but the food they serve is not too bad for the price I pay.

We ordered nabe pot, teriyaki beef, cheese grilled scallop, sushi rolls, chasu, grilled squid and eel don. All were good except tuna roll. For a price of $15 I was expecting something better, this tuna roll was bland, the rice wasnβt pressed nicely too. Cheese grilled scallop was topped with a lot of butter and cheese, very fattening but delicious. Teriyaki beef was nicely done, beef was tender and soft. Beef sukiyaki was good, the portion was small. Overall still a good experience, we will come back if we are around east auckland.
Had lunch with a good friend. Very delicious food and pretty neat presentaton of food. We ordered a Teriyaki Beef set, an Eel Don Set and 2 sides. The Eel Don is not big but it's very delicious. The Teriyaki Beef looks a little special, because it is a beef steak instead of thin beef slices that I had in some other Japanese restaurants. It came as medium well cooked and very delicious, probably because of the souce. All sets have sushi and salad provided, so the whole meal is surely enough. Sides we had were Edamame and Squid Rings, common ones among Japanese restaurants. I like the flavour of the souce sprinkled on the squid rings.
Haven't tried the dinner menu yet. I guess the quality shouldn't be disappointing.
