Lip smacking North Indian food with many vegetarian options. One of the few Indian restaurants/takeaways on the Shore that do a fab mint chutney. I always get a portion to eat along with onion bhaji.
Our all time fav lunch place being Close to work. Malai kofta here has been so so so good and has never ever disappointed us. I love keep coming back. 💕
I had a wonderful time at Mr India with a few of my friends. We got service straight away and they were fast and quick to serve us. We also got free Mango drinks, which was very kind of Mr India. The decoration is mighty fine and gives me (someone that is uneducated in the Indian culture) a new scene. They are all very kind. Thank you.
Nice place to go for lunch, chicken tikka masala is bit sweeter compared to other Indian restaurants I have been before, but still tasty :) convenient location in the shore, will be back
We've been looking for a new great Indian, as our old favorite unfortunately changed chef, well I think we found it in Mr India.
In the last 3 weeks we've been back four times. We've tried, tikka chicken masala 5, saag gosht 4, tikka paneer 4, butter chicken 3 (slightly to sweet for us) naan bread 5, sizzling platter 5+,( please, excuse my spelling of the dishes didn't have the menu in front of me 😁)
I had Daal Makhni and Lamb Roganjosh.Dishes were super awsome.

Went there with my friends on a Wednesday night :) my briyani was well cooked, meat tender and rice fluffy. But the star of the night has to be that delicious butter chicken!!! Have to steal some from my friend (#obliterated) and i wipe the bowl clean with my naan bread hahahahaha!! Bb.
Best Curry we have had EVER!
Tasty & Very Moist Chicken tikka. Garlic Naan was very light not stodgy had an even layer of Garlic & herbs spread across which really showed some passion/love has gone into making it. We have been looking for a great curry for a while now & we have finally found our local. Well Done .
Been a regular here for a while. We usually get a Medium Chicken Korma which is enough for two. Their naan breads are also amazing. Takeaway is usually ready in about 20 minutes from ordering and haven’t ever really had to wait longer than that. Fantastic service every time.
I love the flavours of Indian food but I struggle with the spiciness and sometimes under-estimate what I can tolerate. I ordered mild but it was still too hot for me to eat in one sitting so asked if I could take it home. The man who served me could see I was struggling and offered to replace it with extra-mild. This was very kind of him. Will definitely go back and be sure to order extra-mild next time.

We had the lunch special, which included a curry & naan. This was perhaps a little on the small side, but wasn't expensive either, so ok if you're not starving.

The best in Auckland .. one of the best curries I have ever tasted.. friendly staff and amazing customer service.. don't miss to go over there if you are in Auckland.. definitely gonna come back..
The service and food were excellent. The portion sizes were really good. Sid was excellent in service. He made us feel at home and catered to our individual needs. Thank you Sid. We will definitely come here more often.

I ordered malai chicken tikka and tandori lamb chops. I am so surprised malai chicken tikka is soooooo delicious!! Chicken is very tender and juicy. Tandori lamb chops is amazing too. Definitely will come here again.
Update: Made my second order from Mr. India and food is delicious as before. Ordered Lamb Dry, Keema naan and Garden Fresh Green Salad. Just a little surprised there is no dressing in the green salad. It'd be great if there is dressing in the salad.
