We ordered the traditional noodles which the host kindly explained how to eat these. I love being able to eat the noodles dry and had the option to have noodle soup.
You get one extra serve of noodle and toppings per person which is great. You definitely don’t leave hungry!
The noodles were chewy, tasty and full of flavour.

Their signature guilin rice noodle is the to go!! Tasty clear bone broth goes perfectly well with their toppings like the crispy pork, braised thin cut beef, roasted peanuts, bamboo shoots, preserved green beans brings the soup to another whole new level. Get your choice of spicy level and I recommend mild as u can taste the soup well with a subtle kick. Comes also with a half hard boiled egg. So dzamn good!!
Another thing to note is, u can always ask for extra soup or noodle without any extra charges!! Also on the table has their 'lu Sui!' for u to add on when u ask for extra soup,bring that braised beef sauce back into that broth. ❤️😍
I've visited this place with my friends from China and have tried multiple versions of the rice noodles availavle. The food is absolutely delicious (not for the faint of heart), full of flavor and chilli. According to my friends it resembles in flavor to the food you can have in Southern China which is amazing. I relish the spices and even thinking about them makes me want to go back again.
One recommendation/personal preference though, I enjoyed the dishes better when I asked for the soups separately, rather than in the noodles.
Came in for a family dinner tonight. Ordered the pork mince rice noodles, the traditional guilin roast pork rice noodles, sliced beef and tripe in chilli sauce and the shanghai bok choy. The rice noodles felt like they were handmade. They were the perfect noodle texture. Not too thin or thick. Blended into the spicy broth, the flavours overlapped, indulging my palate and burning my throat while melting my heart. The mince was finely diced to the perfect size, allowing us to taste its original flavour while also absorbing some spicy broth. The egg was soft and fluffy, mingling with the noodles down my throat. Sliced beef and tripe in chilli sauce was delicious. The meat was thinly sliced and was able to soak in the perfect amount of chilli sauce. This restaurant also gave out free rice noodle refills. Fried rice was also amazing. It was spicy and the egg yolks and whites were scrambled separately.
Great place for a bowl of yummy rice noodles. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The broth is very nice not too salty. Perfect for a chilly day.
Love this place for casual dining. Food is always quick and flavourful. Spice is on point too. Recommended for hang over meals too.
Have returned several times already and don’t plan to stop!

They redeco the restaurant. The photos on the wall give some idea about Guilin. The traditional lamps suit the restaurant. The traditional hats on the wall are also lovely. Bring the place to next level.
Noodles here taste good. Recommend to order the noodle with mild. The chilies are way too spicy for me.
I don't know people gave the lovely restaurant such a low score. After all, it's one of my favourite restaurants in Auckland. The Guilin style rice noodle is absolutely authentic, you can determine it's authentic from the marinade source on the table. The soup base is made from pork bones, I know it's the soup made from real thing - it's not made from chemical stuff. I've tried 70% of the menus, most of them are lovely especially Marinade Tofu, Guilin Rice Noodle, Spicy Pork Skin, etc. However, there's several dishes I don't want to order again like Margarya Soup Rice Noodle. The last tip is the chilli here is quiet spicy, ask for mild spicy if you're not that good with it.
That is not soy sauce, but it is beef broth. The noodles are yummy and so is the soup! I really enjoyed the beef noodles and the vegetarian ones.

This is my favorite rice noodle place. There are many options on the menu here, but every time I come there are only a few items available to order. You have the option of dry and soup to choose, the level of spiciness is optional. One serving is a big bowl of noodles.
It's small with 14 seats, traditionally decorated in the style of a family.
The most generous portion of noodles! My friends and I have never had such springy and delicious rice noodles.
It’s authentic and good food, the servers are friendly and the other reviewers are too critical. Go for the food, it’s worth it!!

Great place to sit down for some very authentic and healthy Chinese cuisine! Their star dish, Traditional Guilin Noodles, was an amazing example of Chinese cuisine. Light on the stomach and delicious most of all! Great example of a Chinese noodle restaurant :)
I eat here every week, it's a great noodle House with vegan dish options the owners happily prepare if requested. Very friendly atmosphere, Karina is the best!
Just like the rice noodles I had in Guilin China. Very tasty, quite spicy. I have a very low spice tolerance, but I deal with it to eat here as it’s so good. Big portions, and the vegetarian options are just as good!

Plenty of soup options for your rice noodles and even gives you the option to choose a different type of noodle if rice noodles is not what you want. Each bowl also comes with a complimentary top up of another small portion of noodle. The 2 rice noodles we had ( 1 spicy and 1 non spicy) both tasted really yummy. Price is pretty affordable too ($13 per bowl) which is cheaper than most other places especially with the additional portion which makes 1 bowl probably enough for 1 adult and 1 child.

Delicious rice noodles - the dry Guilin noodles with an extra portion of meat is my favourite. They offer a free noodle refill. Lovely service and family atmosphere. Highly recommend. 谢谢阿姨！
