Chicken was good! Came out nice and hot tasty as well

Excellent meals! The grilled snapper was perfectly cooked - a large fillet of snapper with decent mound of green salad & potatoes. The salmon dish was much smaller than expected though, and wasnt enough to satisfy you, eventhough it was tasty. Both fish were fresh and cooked perfectly. We will definitely come back to try the other dishes!

This gluten free heaven has me coming back every Friday lunch hour to get my eat on.
I’m sufficiently positive I’ve tried every damn think on their menu and can say without hesitation it is all so Bomb, bomb, bomb.
Highly recommend their crispy golden kumara fries and the duck fat roasted potatoes, roasted to absolute heavenly perfection with a side of grey, charcoal, smoky aioli, don’t be put off by the colour and go to the dark side, you won’t regret it.
Their grilled salmon, pork and prawns are outstanding although I wouldn’t recommend the prawns 🦐 if you don’t plan on getting your hands a little messy.
All in all this is my favourite lunch spot and I’ll be back every Friday.

What a find! This place is DELICIOUS!!!!!! Had the cassava chips (with I think squid ink aioli) and the fish arepa.... so so tasty!!! And something a little different. Highly recommend! The fish was so fresh!

It was my first time at the Fish market, we went to Mar & Tierra and we loved it!!!!!!!!The Fish arepas are a must try! Amazing menu The staff were super friendly you can see they are passionate about what they do!! Great vibe and atmosphere, especially the outside area for summer!!!Hidden gem of Latin America!!!
It is a little Argentine eatery here at the fish market in which I had a beef brisket dish call loaded fries with mozzarella and criollo sauce, very basic dish nothing spectacular, I like the rates here though.
First time at the Auckland fish market and i love it. Wondered around trying to figure out what i wanted and came across Mar and Tierra. Swordfish skewer is amazing a must try. Empanadas were alright. Loaded chips for the table. Ate with a few colleagues who ordered else where and we shared all the things we found. A great way to do this place. Also has a full bar
The food was beyond perfect, I tried so much dishes and I'm not a fan of seafood but I tried a few foods that had seafood in it and all I can say is that, they made me love seafood. The staff are so friendly and are always smiling. Love the food and service. If I could, I would give it 10+++
Beautiful name for a beautiful restaurant. Staff was so passionate for what they do and very helpful. Absolutely amazing menu and rich taste, authentically Latin. It is a bit overpriced and I am not a great fan of the fish market - it is a nice idea, but such a good place like Mar & Tierra should have its own full place.
Amazing place! Love the arepas (try the lamb!) Trully genuine southamerican staples cooked and served by their owners all the way from Colombia . Highly recommend.
This is amazing food, a great find in Auckland. First time ever trying Colombian arepas and I was mind blown with the flavors. The chicken & chorizo and the fish arepas were incredible, highly recommend these guys know their stuff. Definitely coming back to try more of their food.
Great flavours, highlighting some of the best south american plates. I had an arepa and some empanadas. Full of flavour and juicy!

and they are going to do grill it.

Really excellent barbeque joint in the middle of the fish market. I've been here several times now, the half-chicken, meat platter and pork belly are personal favourites, although you can't really go wrong with anything on the menu - It's a great complement to the multitude of seafood restaurants in the area!
Got their market fish arepa. Super fresh and brimming with great ingredients. Quite under seasoned however, thus the four star.
This is a gem in Jellicoe street food court. The chicken is really delicious and a very healthy option. You generally have to wait atleast 20 mins for it to cook.
I've been to this place twice now and their food just wows me.
Yesterday we went to the Fish Markets for a friend's birthday a bit late and they were closing, however after the birthday girl said that it was her birthday and if they could please serve us, they didn't even hesitate. They worked overtime just to serve the 20+ people we were. Absolutely outstanding service and delicious Latin American food. They even won the best Latin Restaurant award for 2020 :)
Do yourself a favor and visit this lovely restaurant in the Auckland fish Market. I went out for dinner last Saturday and I have to say, the service is unmatched. The food is absolutely amazing - everything we tasted melted in other mouths, I enjoyed every single bite of the meal.

Empanada is fresh and tasty. The sauce it came with complimented the flavours plus it was gluten free. Would’ve rated 5 stars had the portions bigger and staff friendlier. Will come back.
