One of my family members dislikes Thai food so we don’t usually order Thai which is a pity as it’s one of my favourite cuisines. Wanting to try at least one dish, we ordered the fried omelette which came with rice.

Liked:
The fact that they were friendly and flexible. We asked to switch the chicken filling which came with the omelette to prawn adding $2. Came to $16.50 but for the portion and taste it was excellent value.

Definitely coming back on my own for more Thai or a takeaway feast.

Prawn pad Thai was really delicious and filling. I liked how they used large prawns too instead of small shrimp pieces which I’ve had in a few other pad Thai dishes. Heaps of seating too and definitely worth the price.

Love their pad see Kew (I think that’s it, dish no.1 on their menu - pictured) and pad Thai never disappoints either. Both flavoursome and cheap for a large portion. They could scrub up on service though

Had the most delicious filling noodle soup 🍜! Honestly cured my cold 🤔🤷🏼‍♀️ I don’t go into food courts with high expectations as it is a cheep eat. This meal totally surprised me with how good it was!

Amazing food and full of flavour. I come here with my family for dinner every Sunday and have never been disappointed by their food. The plates are always full so you won't leave here hungry.Recommended dish : Pad Ke Mao

Ruk thai's food all amazing and so cheap i love food in there. There are so famous dishes i would recommend are Pad thai or Ruk thai (11) and Pad med . They are so delicious.

Ponsonby foodcourt is a very exciting place to visit! It's not your average mall style foodcourt, it's more like an authentic South East Asian street food market!

Ruk Thai is definitely a cool member in the foodcourt. They serve good quality Thai food in a very good price (the way it should be). I love their Pad Thai and the Peneng curry!

Don't expect much of a customer service, but who cares. You're here to enjoy a good meal.

amazing food nice staff. This restaurant has been operating for a very long time with great success due to the mouth watering food they provide. Although there are new owners the food and quality still stays exceptionally tasty and leaves you wanting more! Definitely will be a regular and coming back as I cannot get enough. If you’re stuck on what to get id recommend the yellow curry, with a side of Pad see Ew or the delicious Pad Thai.

This place location is handy just inside Ponsonby Foodcourt. Their foods are so authentic and delicious! The food price is reasonable and affordable even the fact that every ingredients is expensive out there right now. Highly recommend this place.

This is one of the restaurants in the Ponsonby International Food court. What you notice when you order is that instead of getting a digital order pager you get a wooden cube with a number on it. Your food is ready when the display in front of the shop has your number. Fairly large selection of food and it does all look nice. The food is quite nice and flavoursome and it is fairly cheap. A nice Thai place if you are in the area.

Best fried rice I’ve ever had. It’s delicious. The vegetables aren’t overcooked. The flavour is simply unmatched. I would have to say the best fried rice in NZ and I have eaten a lot of fried rice.

I placed a delivery order for myself and my partner, our order arrived nice and hot. Both of our orders were very flavourful and delicious, however the sauce of my green curry was extremely watery.. regardless the food was delicious.

Been here multiple times, I keep coming back!! I love their pad thai, best i've had in auckland! However Don't be fooled in getting a second meat for pad thai because they charge $4 more but barely give you any more meat than they would had you just ordered it with one meat choice...

Top quality Thai food in Ponsonby foodcourt. A++++ service and affordable prices. I have been coming here for over 10+ years. The Pad Thai is delicious as well as the curries a must try and also you can call in advance for takeaway if you would like to eat at home. Good portions and so fresh the ingredients.

i went there on a busy night in ponsonby where everyone was running around crazily, i ordered a pad thai from the restaurant and from my short experience there they got my order perfectly right and as quick as possible i literally went toilet and for a smoke and came back to the food on the table. hot and ready :) From quick service to a nice attitude, ill definitely be back later for that yummy yummy pad thai and maybe even more!
