My whimsical tiramisu craving led me to Buona Sera. I got a takeaway and it was really yummy with a big portion. Would love to try their main menu.
Took the family out for a dinner on Wednesday night and was very impressed with the meals and service. Kids absolutely loved their pizza! will definitely be back
One of favourites on the shore. A cosy restaurant with A+ service, friendly staff and the food is always amazing. The gnocchi š Happy hour with pizza bread is a tasty way to start!

Great food, lovely atmosphere and super service. If you like Italian food and can't get to Italy anytime soon, this Ā is the place to try. We've been customers for years and still enjoy the menu. My husband is vegetarian and usually finds it difficult to eat out but he is always catered for there.
I am Italian and can assure you this is a great restaurant, with wonderful ambience and great staff. Portions are huge and there areĀ lots of dishes to choose from. Highly recommended

restaurant in the North Shore. The atmosphere is great, the service is amazing and most importantly the food there is filling and never fails to be cooked to the best quality.
The food there was absolutely amazing! I ordered the Garlic Bread for entree and it was cooked to perfection and for mains I had the Fettuccine Alfredo which was beyond delightful. The Staff there were all exceptionally friendly and helpful. My family and I will definitely be visiting Buona Sera again!
Nice Italian restaurant with GF Pasta and Pizza. Pasta portions are huge, Iāve struggled eating up the main size and ordered this time an entree size, which was a full size portion too. Also nice Italian wines to go with your meal. I can recommend Sangovese. Definitely a nice place to dine in. Bookings might be helpful as this place is well visited
Beautiful gem in Auckland! Easy ride from the ferry from CBD (adds to the experience) and fabulous food! Authentic Italian with generous servings.

I'd give 10 stars if I could! This is where I took a date in 2006 who, not long after, became my wife. Still the same delicious food! The fresh pasta is deliciously amazing. Great to visit while we're on holiday. Thank you for making our second visit another memorable one.
We celebrated my husband's birthday for the 4 Yr in a row and the food was exceptional, tonight! Highly recommended. Thanks Buona Sera for making our night so special!
The first thing we noticed was the wonderful aroma of good food. Secondly that the diners looked and sounded happy.
We had Great service. A comprehensive menu. I had the veal scallopine. Tender veal in a flavorsome sauce with mushrooms, spinach and mozzarella. It came with new potatoes, carrots, beans and broccoli. It was delicious and I took my time to savour the tastes and textures.
My partner had chicken cacciatore. This was delicious. The tomato sauce was smooth. It came with vegetables, too. Both these dishes were gluten free. For dessert we had the icecream ' drowned' in the liquor of choice. Fabulously simple and indulgent way to end our meal.
Staff was knowlegable and helpful. They were not intrusive and were efficient. Wonderful evening. It is popular and I would recommend booking.
Wow our son who is in the Navy here in Devonport recommended this restaurant as he knows we love Italian food. It was beautiful, the food was delicious, a lovely menu and the staff were very attentive. Nice selection of wine but also a BYO. The two nights we were in Devonport it was fully booked so would definitely recommend booking so you are not disappointed. We will definitely be back, thank you š
