Walked by countless times to get onto Queen street. Was always attracted to the restaurant because of its peculiar name. Managed to convince some work colleagues to give this place a go.

What you would appreciate with a place like this is the amount of food you get verses how much you pay. The beef noodle soup was a favorite along with the tomato braised beef soup.

Showstopper: Godzilla portions

Went for a quick lunch and was pleasantly surprised at the service, quality and quantity of their food. Had the Braised Beef Noodles (with handmade noodles for an extra $1) and the Spring Onion Pancake both were excellent. Will definitely come back and bring my colleagues too!

Potatomatoes

I ordered water crayfish dumplings and "stewed beef brisket and tomato pot".
The water crayfish dumplings were like soup dumplings (xiaolongbao). The soup gushed out and dripped all over my plate so please remember to ask for a spoon. It has what looked like half a water crayfish and pork mince. The dumplings were amazing. The soup is savoury and just spicy enough to give a kick!
I told them to pack "stewed beef brisket and tomato pot". The bowl was filled to the brim with big, thick chunks of beef. The meat is tender but they didn't remove the nerves/ligaments (very soft jelly texture that melts in your mouth when warm). They somehow managed to get rid of the earthy smell of the tomatoes. The soup has a strong taste of tomatoes and of course, savoury. There was so much rice, I could only eat half a meal and happy that I don't have to worry about lunch the next.
The customer service was great! I love how they don't skimp on ingredients. I'll definitely come back and try their spicy water crayfish.

Very good restaurant experience with High quality food. The stewed beef noodles is a particular favourite of mine, whilst the even the smaller dishes are done well. It can be a little dark, especially towards the back of the store and the black walls dont help in this regard however in all other aspects the venue is excellent.
