Palmer has a perfect vibe for hanging out after work. The service is great. Every staff is very friendly and welcoming. Their food is great. Strongly recommend Burrata and Eye fillet.

Very impressed with the fit-out and excellent service. The food was delicious and nicely presented but the menu was limited and everything a little bit samey. Great wine list and cocktails and a lovely place to sit back and chill.

Recently went to Palmer and it was amazing! Beautiful decor and lighting. The service was nice really informative on the dishes. The food was some of the best I’ve tasted in Auckland. You could tell a lot of effort went into it and the flavours really matched. The cocktails that accompanied the food was delicious and well presented. Will be back again for more

Went to Palmer bar with friends on a Friday. Loved the atmosphere, the design and the team. The food was so delicious we had 5/6 sharing plates and finished with the steak fillet. They were all delicious but I really enjoyed the leeks, the tuna and steak with the garlic sauce which was the highlight. The service was great and the team at the bar really made lovely drinks to go along the food. Highly recommended. I wanted to take pics of the food but I enjoyed the food too much that I forgot

Stunning venue, attention to detail through out from the flooring to the cocktail creation to the mood lighting & glassware…Things that make an experience special and refined! The food was immaculate.. the starters where all stand out dishes especially the miso cabbage and the steak Bavette for main was divine. If you want a sophisticated but still relaxed vibe this venue is perfect. Can’t wait to go back for summer to utilise the roof terrace with its city lights back drop.

We are so happy to welcome the Palmer Bar to our urban neighbourhood. Such a chic modern bar with a wonderful team .. the cocktails are amazing (I think the Rosie is my fav however many more to try). Can’t wait to go back and try the food! Special shout out to Mark, Cat and the staff at Palmers for the excellent service..

Had our first Palmer bar experience tonight and we weren’t disappointed. Absolutely amazing food and lovely staff. The atmosphere and vibe is unmatched! Love the artwork too. Will be back.

Bit of an odd location for a bar. The weather as usual was shocking when we went but I assume the outside area is a nice place for a sundowner with brighter weather. Nothing really out of the ordinary that would set it apart from any other bar in the city.

Winner dishes: fries, lamb ribs, burrata, short rib Decent/good: chicken pinxos Wouldn’t order again: brisket burger - over cooked slightly dry/tough patty and the bun is too dense and 100% not a potato bun. Cured trevally is completely overpowered by the seaweed flavour and overall dont think the dish works in terms flavours There are some interesting cocktails worth trying

I just love the ambient warmth a big fire pit brings. In the heart of the city, this place will be cracking in Summer. The drinks are splendid, just don’t be fooled by the manuka cocktail, it is not sweet.
