Loved this place! Probably the most lively and relaxing place to hang out at on an afternoon around Christchurch central. Staff were extremely friendly and knowledgable, and the service was great. Came back here multiple times during our stay in Christchurch.
I am a whiskey and wine lover and this place is perfect for me. I can go here every day to have a different drink and i would even then not be able to have everything they have in one lifetime
The girls who manage the bar are friendly and they guide everyone on what to choose as they have an extensive menu.

Had a great time chatting with the friendly staff. They have an extensive range of whiskeys from around the globe, the Welsh whiskey Penderyn Madeira is smooth and golden, very easy to drink!...Will definitely be back to try some more.

What a cool place situated in New Regent street which is always a fun night location! Once you step inside you are welcomed with 100’s of whiskey options & a very cool vibe with 2 staircases that lead up into 2 lounge spaces. There’s also room downstairs & outside so there’s plenty of choice for a quieter or more open area. The space has truly been maximised and it is cool! We happened on Wednesday evening where there was an Irish band playing& singing upstairs casually around the table - wow! The menu is seriously extensive so do ask for advice! Service attentive and efficient. Will definitely return & there’s loads of other options if whiskey isn’t your thing. Beware of the tiny bathroom space tucked under the stairs it’s a drop down which caught me out!
Best day out I've had in ages. 700 whiskeys and a totally overwhelming menu. Thankfully the staff an incredible knack for helping find a dram that suits your tastes.
If I wasn't trying to get to Whisky Galore before they closed, I'd probably still be sitting there talking about whisky.
This is the place to go in Christchurch if you want good whiskey. They have Auchentoshen three wood which is one of my favorites. The whole street has a great vibe to chill and have a dram. There is seating inside and out. I definitely prefer to be on one of the benches out front where I can people watch. The bartender Cory is great fun and very helpful. I always enjoy the time I spend drinking here.
Excellent whiskey and cocktail bar, that suffers from the common sin of confusing noise and volume for atmosphere. It's only an issue updates upstairs, but if you have anything other than perfect hearing, do NOT go upstairs. 😆
The cocktails are great, the whiskey knowledge is amazing, and their hot toddy is the best thing about cold nights in Christchurch. Go!
I’m giving this place 4 stars. The only thing that wasn’t so pleasant was the service we received from Karen. Maybe she was having a bad day. No service with a smile, a really cold and abrupt service from her. The only thing lacking. All other staff great
An absolutely amazing place and fantastic experience, with very friendly staff. They have an incredible selection of whisky from all around the world with quite a few things to please any whisky enthusiast 👍🥃🥳🎉🎊
We were really impressed. The cheese/meat platter was absolutely delicious (unlike the ones you get on the strip). cocktails were excellent, service was amazing. Prices are actually less than other. Places for a far more quality cocktails. Will definitely come again!

I love good whiskey. This place has so many different brands of whiskey and I finally got to sample a whiskey from Wales! A nice relaxed vibe and curtious staff. A really chill place to go for a decent quality drink.
