I am not a person to provide reviews however I feel I must. While my preference is to order via delivery, I am always impressed with whatever I order. The quality always impresses me. My entire family absolutely love the food and while we have tried other businesses in Christchurch, none have compared to the quality that Coriander’s provides. The different levels of heat is totally on point, as are the various breads which bring back lots of special memories. Much gratitude to the chefs, management for providing the consistency and quality and ‘feel’ that you provide through your hard work. We are fans and totally recommend!
We had the best meal, we ended up eating chicken koma, fish curry, plain naan and a coconut Paulo.
These guys are doing Carry and doing it right, the balance was on point and perfect.
They did advise me to eat their chocolate naan which is worth every penny.
If you have any type of dietary, issues they have you covered.
I had to order dinner on 31st Oct, Uber n other services (including Corriander's) couldn't deliver to Novotel hotel. I spoke to Navjot and she went way out of the way to help me out. She called her friend Garry to deliver food to me. Navjot's extraordinary help and exceptional customer service is highly commendable. I would like to request Corriander's management team to award her as a token of appreciation. Thank again Navjot Ji and Garry .. Really appreciate your help
It's been many years since we dined here. So I was surprised that the menu now offer the choice of mild curry for people like us who can't take too much chilli. (Long time ago it was too spicy)
We ordered chicken briyani, lamb korma and lamb rogan josh. The latter 2 were served with rice and naan for the lunch menu.
👍 We love the chicken briyani, though we would have preferred lamb biryani if there's such a choice.
👍 We also like the lamb korma a lot.
😐 The bowls of curry were on the smaller side, would have been better if a bigger serving was given to go with both the naan and rice.
😀 Overall, for the price we paid, we did fill up our stomach and were quite happy with the taste of the food. It's not the best but it's definitely not lacking. (At least it's not like some other Indian restaurants which use so much chilli that all we could taste was heat on our tongue!)

A must visit in Christchurch if you love Indian food. The food is so wholesome and the service is so delighting. The staff is super super nice and make you feel so welcomed. It is absolutely reasonably priced and has great value for the money you spent. Most recommended. Specially the Bush inn Branch.
Do yourself a favour and visit this lovely restaurant in Christchurch. The service is unmatched. The staff truly cares about your experience. The food is absolutely amazing everything we tasted melted in other mouths. Absolutely the best meal we had while in this restaurant . Specially the duty manager was so welcoming and friendly.Highly recommend!
Ordered a takeaway lunch portion Butter Chicken and Garlic Naan for just over $20, not very great, kids didn't enjoy it and usually inhale butter chicken! Probably wouldn't return. Thanks

Food is great and delicious. The restaurant's atmosphere felt like we are in India 🇮🇳.
Fantastic food and highly respectful wait staff. I loved the Bombay chicken... It was absolutely out of this world. The best part is that you can get Uber eats from this establishment! For the best curry in Christchurch I would say that Corianders is the place to go. They have a superb range of gluten free options.
