I had the chicken burger and my wife had the steak sandwich and we shared the wontons. Absolutely delicious food. My only complaint is that the chicken only covered half the burger. HOWEVER such tender meat perfectly cooked, great tasting sauces.... We will definitely be back!

Great pizza and they have Guinness! Looks and feels like a good sports pub. A friend had a steak sandwich and said it was great.

We were very impressed with the food here and the level of super friendly service ! Wish we had something as good as this place in Mount Maunganui / Papamoa. When next in Christchurch will be going there again.

Good food, good portions and good prices. Best to book a table if going Friday or Saturday night. The steak was tasty and perfectly cooked. Beef Wellington has 2 mushrooms in it so they're easily removed if you're not keen on them. The lamb shank pie is huge and looks delicious. Other options include salmon and pork. There is a bar menu of chicken wings, chips and the like. Dessert options include Apple pie, roulade or cheesecake for $11 the best option is to to go for the combo at $16 where you get 3 desserts for that price its much better value. There is wheelchair accessible entrance. Outdoor seating area. Welcoming fireplace. Sports matches on The big screen. The tavern has a gambling machine area.
