The medium beef fillet was perfectly cooked and it definitely is one of the better fillets I've ever had. The sides of potatoes, broccoli and carrots were also nicely sauteed.
The beautiful garden surrounding adds a nice feel to the area.

Great food with equally good service from the staff. Decent selection of food from the menu and a fair amount of selection for drinks also. Can get busy during festive seasons so best make a reservation. Had the steak and it was well prepared. Lamb cutlets are well worth a try too.
Had a very good time here, the service was excellent, food was delicious. Must try their seafood chowder.
A rather small and a casual restaurant in DT. Not much on the menu, but so far all the food that i have tasted was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delish. The price is reasonable and the service is good! Will definitely recommend!
Mum took us to the Brasserie for a nice treat. As usual we enjoyed ourselves a lot. We love the view of the gardens & the fish pond at the entry. Constanza was our server & did a wonderful job. Very thoughtful and efficient. Adapted as we mentioned Dairy Free. The food wasn’t as good as we would have liked. Although the portions were very generous. VERY salty crackling on the pork belly, Tiramisu was very uninteresting, only half a strawberry on the ice cream with strawberries. Constanza did find us a few more when we asked about it.
Fortunately the person who likes a rare steak got a bloody one, and the person who likes “well done” got that. But nothing was discussed ahead of time.
However, we had a lovely time and will be back.

Menu is not very extensive but sufficient.
Prices are slightly high but can be expected as the restaurant is located in a hotel. Restaurant atmosphere and ambience is nothing fancy. Simple. Doesn't befit hotel standards.
Staff service is good. Professional.
I am staying on the premises for work. Had dinner here first 2 nights and have been very impressed with the food but mostly the service. I of course have the option to go elsewhere for dinner for the rest of the week but I won't when I know I can have great food and excellent service with a smile right here.
Absolutely awesome 👌 ordered the Canterbury Lamb Rack with beef demi glaze. Medium rare done to perfection. Come by if ur in Christchurch.
What a lovely place to visit! Had a quick lunch with a friend on a Thursday and the place was packed! The customer service was pretty good considering how busy and under staff they were; the food was better than expected, proper seafood and the beetroot risotto was cooked to what it supposed to be - moist and flavourful!
