Amazing!!! went for a drive over to Lyttelton today and was very impressed with their Vegan selections food was yummy, the staff were friendly chilled vibe will be definitely making this my regular
Love the variety of food, portions are massive and well priced. Love all the different kinds of lattes too! Service is great and love the decor. Better than any vegan place in Melbourne (which is where I live now)
The most incredible tasting vegetarian food, which is delicious and filling. I go out of my way to visit and eat here. It has an indoor and outdoor flow, two bathrooms, mostly breakfast type food with some interesting combinations, yet the walnut and Parmesan sausages!
I always make a point of trying a different gf slice.
Remember food doesn’t need to be perfect, it just needs to taste good.
I was having a bad week and they were very kind and patient with me when I said that.
The place is quite quirky and really well decorated. Staff are super friendly. I had the moussaka which had too many lentils in it for my liking. I also had the ka pie which was quite dry. But they have Havana coffee beans in their coffee which is great.
We went to the Shroom room on a rainy Saturday morning. I really like the layout of the cafe. The staff were friendly and the food was delicious.
Food and drink is great with very reasonable prices and adorable atmosphere. However the food and drink took a long time, around 25 minutes when the cafe wasn't too busy. Great food though so was worth the wait

Excellent experience during 1st visit
I had been to Lyttelton many times but didn’t know about this place, till today. A friend who had been there before took us here, and we were pleased he did!
The simple exterior hide a charming place, which serves excellent food. We were a group of 7 and had 3 different vegetarian dishes.
The service was quick, and presentation nice and the quality and quantity of food excellent. What else can one ask for!
The table identifier markers are very unique. You will know what I mean when you visit.
We will certainly come back!
What a fabulous find this gorgeous wee spot has the most divine food and coffee. I was starving so demolished my mushrooms and eggs. The seating indoors and outside makes this cafe larger than expected. Well worth it.
The Shroom Room has such a great vibe, I love the indoor area with the grape vine and inside with all the art. Outside is good too, just keep your eye on those seagulls! The staff are really friendly and welcoming, there's heaps in the cabinet and the coffee is fantastic. Definitely going back!
Incredible place 😍 the vibes here are just so fantastic and the coffee is phenomenal 🙌 no extra charge for oat milk too!
We headed here after a hike and I demolished the Nachos 🤩 my sister enjoyed the 'Chicken' burger too!
I LOVED the cheesecake OMG still thinking about how smooth and chocolatey that was 🤤 The blondie was alo delightful - my wife thoroughly enjoyed that one!

Amazing vegetarian and vegan food. Coffee is on point. Mushroom lattes available. Oat milk is free! The wifi inside is really good. Friendly staff and a cool ambience. Why wouldn’t you?
I've been a casual customer over many years and always had a good experience. Good coffee and food. Usually good service. I always love the atmosphere of this place.
Food was ok only but if you're a vegan, you'll love it. Coffee was good though, had 2 cuppas. Overall a very hippy place
I am so happy I discovered this cafe. First time visiting, service is super friendly, the VIBE is just incredible, plants everywhere and cool art, amazing mushroom coffees and so much more. Best start to my day honestly. Food is so delicious and healthy, wish I lived closer so I could visit more.

Being a vegetarian for 39 years this place was a piece of heaven, never have I been into a eatery and have so much choice for such exceptional value and not only was I spoilt for choice it was absolutely delicious, my daughter also a vegetarian had been once before and had the same zen burger GF as she had last time my husband a meat eater said the meatball bagel was as good as the real thing. Wish you were in Wellington I would eat out more .
