Went there for coffee. It was average. The ambient is nice and all the food looked delicious.

We stopped there at lunch time on a Sunday and there was 2 other tables with someone. Service was efficient and fine. The terrasse and nice giving on the river right beside. I had the salad which was quite tasty and an appropriate side with a good amount of meat!

What a beautiful spot to sit and eat lunch overlooking the Avon River! Had the steak sandwich and chips - plain but all was beautifully cooked. Only had one person serving the bar and food. She did a good job on her own.

Awesome location, very friendly and helpful staff. Great value meals.. Had a much better time than the week before at the ritzy overpriced The George.. Love the old building, highly recommended for family meal ;)

Nice place to have a relaxing dinner. Generous portion of food compared to a normal New Zealand restaurant. Taste was good so as the service. Want to go again.

The nearest in atmosphere to an English pub you will find in Christchurch. Had lunch there on two occasions, excellent food and good prices. Thoroughly recommended.

Recently we dined at Regatta on Avon....It was a gift for my husband through Grab one for the Antipasto Platter to share...Just want to say it was absolutely stunning...So well presented and so tasty...Such an amazing variety of food.......Just loved it......We had to dine between 2.30pm & 6.30pm...because of it being a Grab One coupon but that wasn't a problem to us.... Also have to say the staff that looked after us were very attentive and pleasant to chat with... Thankyou so much Regatta on Avon....:)
