Lovely dinner customer service and atmosphere

Good quality and quantity food. Nothing too fancy but feeds you well. Staff are welcoming. Lots of truck driver and local seniors have dinner there. They’ve got a pretty decent kids playroom next to dining area.

I would not recommend this place we went here for dinner with 5 of us the first meal come out and 15 min later the next one come out and 10min later the last 2 meals come out they weren't very nice they were only warmish 3 of us had the roast one person couldn't eat most of hers and I did not eat all of mine as the roast potatoes tastied like they were the day befores we will not be going back there again

The food was amazing ! And so was the service (although one bad apple needs to learn how to speak to others in general) I was in the area for a week and I ate here every night ! Restaurant Staff did amazingly well to cater to my bizarre requests. Will definitely be recommending Hoofbeats to everyone. Well done guys & gals 👏

Went with friends for dinner. Had a really delicious meal and it was delivered quickly to our table, staff were friendly and helpful, everything was clean and we'll presented. Will definitely go back and I will recommend it to others I know.

We had a very lovely roast meal today at your restaurant. My only disappointment was the difference in plate size between the standard and large serve. For anyone attending your restaurant please inform them of the size difference. For only $2 more you can get a much more decent serving. The standard plate looks more like a tea saucer to this big Kiwi bloke and i think you guys would be smarter to give those puny plates to a white elephant school fundraiser and just serve the more respectable sized option. I've had bigger roasts for a cheaper price elsewhere so this was a bit of a shock unless appetites have downsized over time. Beautiful coffees and an absolutely exquisite cheesecake for midday dessert. The service could have been a little swifter too as we waited quite a while for our meals. Still, a very tasty experience.
