Exceptional spot, exceptional food and drinks and awesome service. The views are gorgeous and the coffee and counter food are above and beyond what any other golf club delivers. The catering by the chef team is nothing short of outstanding. 100%the spot!

A friend of mine recently recommended this Cafe to me which is part of the Christchurch Golf Club. I always assumed that such facilities were exclusively only for the golfers however I was pleasantly surprised when others told me that they had visited the cafe on an instinctive whim of curiosity. The cafe is bright and breezy and even if you're not a golfing aficionado you'll still be left breathless by the panoramic views of the course itself. There are multiple screens in the cafe some showing sports while others show in a screens saver slide like manner the bedazzling charm, charisma and characters of the club. The members we encountered were all very friendly and welcoming and our waiter and other staff were a delight. There is A stellar assortment of both alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and we were sparingly satisfied with our rich velvety lattes which were companioned by two lovely moist and flavoursome bacon and avocado muffins which were substantial in size and texture and gregariously accompanied with a generous amount of butter reeeeaaaal NZ butter too. Our party had lunch in the restaurant Wednesday, the food was excellent, the sun was shining we had to ask for blinds to be lowered staff and kitchen were excellent.
